There are two things that audiences strongly dislike about this film: Clark’s decision to not save his father on Earth, and his decision to kill Zod instead of somehow sparing him. For me both of these decisions worked, and thus makes this movie one of my favorites on the genre. I understand how it doesn’t work for everyone.
