As with many mondo documentaries, this rare exploitation film captures some remarkable footage of so-called 'lost civilizations.' However, the narration is profoundly misguided, even by the standards of its time. It seems likely that the filmmakers were aware of this regardless, and were merely attempting to cash in on the earlier success of Mondo Cane.

Mayday at 40,000 Feet 1976
I have such a soft spot for all the made-for-TV movies of the 1970s. They really went all out to try and compete against feature films. What a cast in this Airport disaster film ripoff, my favorite being the deranged Marjoe Gortner.
