An enjoyable little movie. Clever commentary on the 21st century Jewish-American identity and its anxieties, while also feeling universal.
I thought Benji could toned it down 10% the whole movie. I found both this movie and Anora grating for having its mouthy New Yorker character saying ‘fucking’ every other word as if that makes a character’s dialogue witty. I overall really liked his character, but it could’ve developed more slowly—he sort of went from 0-100 freaking out on the train.…
