Still the best and a brilliant movie on its own.

Might be my favorite, but all of them are singular…unforgettable….magical….sinister…sexual…violent…imperfectly perfect. RIP. Just learn filmmakers, don’t copy.

There’s a lot to like here if you get past some of the cringe worthy dialogue especially the first 20 minutes. After that the characters are good (except Dean - am I supposed to find him funny, sad or disturbing), the house is great and the actress that plays Abigail just made her agent happy. Three great set pieces including a call back to Argento’s Phenomenon and a hilarious review of what could kill vampires. Last hour is a great, gory blast that I was there for!
