What can I say? Was it a fundamentally good movie? Well, the visuals and shots were great, the lighting and colour saturation didn’t always make sense, and there was far too much going on to have a real external meaning or good plot. On the other hand, all the Godzilla action sequences…
The acting and dialogue in this film were almost perfect, and had me enthralled the whole time. Also, I found the movie’s satirical humour fantastic and worked well with the interesting yet seemingly invasive cinematography. The heavy use of close-ups throughout the film allowed us to really look into the characters faces and expressions to allow a vulnerability in a film riddled with satire and humour. I found it worked really well.

A very emotional film that shows the journey of trying to grow into the woman you want to be and all the experiences that make a person who they are. It was just such a beautiful and emotional journey, and one that I was not expecting to be taken on in spite of all the wonderful things I’ve heard about this film.
