hate this movie so so so much. fuck forrest gump. he didn’t know shit, his dick game was weak af, found himself in absurd family guy cutaway-esque situations (not charming when you aren’t animated) that did nothing to improve him as a person. zemeckis doesn’t want the system to work against gump. zemeckis doesn’t want you to feel like forrest. he is our remarkable idiot. our drawling wunderkind. somehow, the villain of his story is a woman with AIDs.
