  I really liked the style of this movie and the way the story was told, but man, Nick Cage is just so mid. The whole time I was just thinking about how much better the movie could have been if there was a better lead role. He wasn’t horrible, he’s just so hard to take serious that it almost takes away from the magnitude of the plot.

  This actually might be the worst movie I have ever seen. It makes me want to bump all my other half stars up to a 1 or 2. There are so many plot holes in this movie that I couldn’t get past, and that doesn’t even take into account the fact that the entire movie is about a 40 year old in love with a 12 year old. Poor Natalie Portman. So brutal, oh my lord.
