  This is not a horror movie! But, I do think it's a unique family drama and telling it from the perspective of a presence/ghost/apparition was interesting enough, albeit maybe a little predictable.

  I had the opportunity to see this on 70mm at the DC premiere, which was a visually stunning experience. Although I'm not sure if The Brutalist is quite my favorite movie from this past year, it's, at least so far, the most beautiful. The opening sequence that pans to the Statue of Liberty towering above, the Italian mountainside, the interior of Laszlo's creation, etc. were at times awe-inducing.
