    I expected a lot more “exploding” from the “Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique”. 

    I definitely preferred Vol. 2 to Vol. 1, but it was certainly no Inglorious Basterds. I’d be curious to see how viewing both parts as one movie impacts the story.

    Hands-down Tarantino’s best film. Inglorious Basterds expertly blends extreme tension, outrageous violence, and dark humor without ever losing its heart. 

    It once again shocked me how Tarantino managed to create a gratuitous, irreverent nazi dark comedy that still felt relatively tasteful and heartfelt. There are countless reasons this film shouldn’t have worked, yet it’s incredibly well-done.

For a PG movie, the humor is shockingly adult and it often feels like a (somehow) dialed-back raunchy r-rated horror comedy. For better or for worse, every moment feels like an absolute fever dream.
