  Lots of cars and loud sounds which brought much joy to my sophomores while I caught up on grades.

  Feels like a film made by someone just starting their journey to becoming a filmmaker as well as an empathetic human. 

  All the characters are simultaneously caricatures of victims and villains. The camera leers at them without showing much empathy or curiosity in their internal lives or motives. 

  Trauma is thrown at the screen pretty carelessly and the result is mostly just a safari of unsympathetic suffering. 

  This man loves nudity a whole lot more than nuance.

  This feels like Bong Joon-ho’s Barbie, and it’s pretty bangin.’ 

  The social commentary comes in big, broad, and very silly swings, and some of the more compelling character dynamics get a little lost in the sauce (literally). 

  Still, I quite enjoyed the ride.
