This is some dumb fun that was perfect for a Saturday morning. Some great physical comedy mixed into the fight scenes. Kong smacking the other apes with the little guy had me busting up laughing.
Ultimately not something I’ll probably revisit, but not nearly as bad as I feel like I’d been led to believe. I think there’s room where we can have a more serious Godzilla Minus One and this at the same time.
Watched the last battle with my three year old who got a kick out of “Big Monkey”, “Tiny Monkey”, and “Dino”.
