The Mule 2018
At its core it’s nice but I expected a little higher stakes. I understand that when you’re 90 you don’t really care anymore… but it felt like there was never any real danger by the police or cartel. Also all the actors selected to play cartel members were either terrible or not believable or seemed harmless. Strong message, and fresh premise.

I think the movie is amazing. I can’t say confidently that I got the meaning of the film, or if there even is one that isn’t just essentially subject to the interpretation of the viewer.
At the same time no other explanation I have read really scratched my itch. But I wished everyone saw this movie so that I could discuss it with them. Beautifully shot and acted. The city environment is horrifically anxiety inducing and just makes the movie so much more impactful.Translated from by
