this is now my second review expressing and third time thinking that toni collette is actually utterly terrifying. why is she so scary? her character in this movie is going to haunt my dreams until my final day.. as will anamaria vartolomei’s terrible line delivery every single time she was on screen.

at first i thought i was gonna really love this movie, it seemed fun, quirky and relatable because i too am in love with someone that lights up rooms and has flowers growing behind her every step.. except then it turned out the girl in this movie is satan and there’s not really anything fun about it. not entirely sure why there’s a trend where the woman in romance movies is the epitome of evil but I don’t like it. I also feel like if a movie is gonna be depressing it has to be good? this was depressing but also.. not that good???
