Gintama is and has been my favorite anime of all time for over half a decade. It’s been a long wait for the manga and anime to finish, but this movie managed to deliver everything that makes the series great to me. This time around, I was able to appreciate the slower pace of this movie and the different things it tried with Andrew Garfield’s interpretation of Peter Parker.
Peter Parker isn’t one type of character and this version is also pretty damn valid, I lowkey think I prefer him having a chip on his shoulder in his early time before Spider-Man because it provides a stark (heh) contrast to how different he is after he becomes Spider-Man.

This one? Certified BANGER. Reminds me a lot of Before Sunset and Before Sunrise but with a completely fresh feel. I feel like the vibe this movie gives off is one that I've never felt with a rom com before. The score is so dreamy, along with the cinematography and COLORS? I never would've expected what this film was gonna throw at me but I enjoyed every last minute of it.

Not gonna lie this one flew by, felt like one of the fastest paced 2 hour films that I’ve seen. Loved every fight scene (fire/raw/kino). I do wish some of the family stuff was directed a bit better, but it’s Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut so I’m excited to see where he goes from here in this department, because this was great.
Disappointing. After the first one, I was hoping this one would have the same kind of emotional follow-through but this time including the other members of the family even more than the first. Zachary Levi was NOT needing rent cuz his acting felt so stagnant especially when comparing him to Asher Angel. The villains were not entertaining at all for me either, they were such a bore for most of their scenes. Other than that, the film is still okay but I would not watch this one again at all, felt like such a slog.
So damn good, SO much good dialogue and one of the best gunfight scenes I've ever seen in a movie. Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Al Pacino and De Niro no surprise fucking owning the screen at every moment, and Val Kilmer's physical acting especially during the gunfight was SO fire. It's quite long but it was so easy for me to get completely entranced into this film.

Amazing movie. Such a simple story but so heartfelt and personal. This one is the first movie to pull at my heartstrings like this since I saw Her A few years prior.
This was a pretty emotional ride for me. Grief being such a heavy handed subject for me as of recently has most likely influenced my perception of this film, but I still think this is a pretty strong product.
