Recently I’ve been thinking about Jason’s relationships. Mostly friendships outside of the batfam. And so many of them are sort of tainted by an association with Dick or Bruce. And I started think you know who’s an old character who was made just for Jason’s story? Rena.

Before she got yeeted, of course.

Anyway been playing with the idea of Rena still being around and getting the tragic backstory of “My boyfriend was killed by the joker.” Before becoming a vigilante herself. And while joining with Steph Cass and Babs personally has a very strict FUCK BATMAN policy. Is this because he’s foiled her plans to kill the joker? Maybe way are you asking? Are you a cop?

I actually am really enjoying xiaohongshu. It’s so friendly, I’ve learned a lot and seen a lot of people’s cozy homes and beautiful people playing music and singing.

This come in part with me wanting Jason to have more of his own friend and cast and partly because she’s like my second ship with him.

Spent most of today getting worried text form friend and family. Then had a job interview. Baked Cookies (and frosted them) because i was stressed and now made dinner.

Just read the first 2 volumes of Gotham Academy and I really enjoyed it. The Scooby Doo vibes work so well. And honestly Maps is genuinely such a fun character.

But now I’m low key thinking about Jason and Maps. Particularity AllCaste Jason and Map.

Like Flaming swords? Cool magic glowing tattoos to fights demons? She’s go ham for that.
