My boy @onestopchop_ threw down on the red beans and rice so I had to work my wrist on some gumbo! Full ingredient list: 1-2 lb chicken thighs 1-2 lb andouille sausage 1 whole onion diced 1 whole green bell pepper diced 2-3 large celery stalks diced 4-5 garlic cloves minced 3-4 bay leaves 6-8 cups chicken broth 1 cup oil 3/4 cup flour 2-3 tsp cajun seasoning 2-3 tsp garlic powder 2-3 tsp onion powder 2-3 tsp black pepper 2 tsp dried oregano Seasoning amount is optional! Allow roux (flour/oil) to cook on low for at least an hour continuously stirring! The darker the better but it will burn quickly.
