The analysis and studies on the conceptions of teaching practices in Visual Arts and
constant exchange ratio in the teaching / learning are important research tools in
building a full training Bachelor in Visual Arts. Reflection on teaching practice is very
essential, but the question is what kind of practice is this that is serving as the basis
for our future reflections. The objective of this study is to analyze and reflect
theoretically practices of theoretical-methodological teachers who teach in the Visual
Arts course UFPA, based on a survey of descriptive and qualitative nature with
reference to the application of open questionnaires and other documents. The
methodology was qualitative and descriptive study, trying to understand the practices
and the reality of teaching in the Visual Arts graduate through the analysis of
experiments and questionnaires open. The survey results showed a heterogeneous
teaching practice, but that has very close relations with regard to intention to develop
a critical consciousness in students as well as an understanding of the sociocultural
identity of their region; However, problems of the administration, bureaucratic and
relational inherent higher education institution is shown as a very significant obstacle
to building a comprehensive practical, democratic and complete.
