The part I don't get is that his sisters are following her for a year now. Were they planning the whole thing for a year? Or is it just a coincidence? Or was it them who offered to know a good stunt material?
I’m not exactly sure how long his sisters have been following her, to be honest, I haven’t been keeping up with that part of the conversation, just saw it pop up at some point.
But yeah, PR relationships don’t just happen out of nowhere. There’s usually some kind of pre-existing connection or at least a reason for both sides to benefit. Zara’s probably managed by a well-connected agency, so she likely has the industry links to set up something like this. I’d say she’s definitely in the same circle as Louis’ sisters. If they’ve already been engaging with her, it makes sense that Zara could have been on their radar as a “safe” option for a PR stunt.

I’m new to this side of the world. Yet, I have become a big supporter of Louis and Harry (not too sure whether this is good or bad😄) Anyways, I have never experienced a stunt situation, and this is my first. I was just lurking around falling in the rabbit hole of YouTube videos and going through tumblr.
I genuinely love their songs and enjoy listening to them too. So I like to think I’m just not enchanted with their relationship semantics. But, I find this particular situation with Louis and the reality star very off-putting. I mean no offense to anyone, but I’m not a fan of reality shows whatsoever. Louis getting himself entangled with a person in such a show is such a low blow. Again, I don’t have anything against people who enjoy such shows. Overall, it’s just I feel Louis is a person with more substance than that. So this stunt is just very 😬 (no words hence the emoticon).
From what I have gathered thus far, Louis is super protective of his dear ones. So, correct me if I’m wrong, he will not subject any of his loved/dear ones to such a lot of public scrutiny. I mean the man lies like it’s the gospel of truth when he wants to protect his loved ones. So whilst I understand this is merely a PR stunt, I don’t understand why he would go for an arrangement which would potentially make his loyal fans tired and possibly even leave him.
I love both Harry and Louis, but it’s honestly very discouraging.
BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO ALL THE OLD LARRIES WHO HAVE HUNG AROUND SUPPORTING THE BOYS NO MATTER WHAT ! I mean it’s a strenuous process, why can’t we just love them as they are, when I was seeking for an answer this question, I felt it’s simply because with love come expectations, and if it doesn’t match the disappointment takes a a front seat (at least what I feel).

I really don’t get the need for this stunt, especially since it doesn’t match what his fanbase wants (even beyond larries). I’ve mentioned in other posts that I think this might be part of his rebranding or something, but honestly, I’m just throwing ideas around trying to make sense of it. Usually, after a while, things start to become clearer. Right at the start, it can feel overwhelming. Hopefully, in time, we’ll get a better idea of where this is heading. Maybe it was just those pictures and nothing more.
Sometimes I really wonder if their teams are just clueless when planning and executing stunts, or if they simply think that all publicity, whether positive or negative, is good.
In Harry’s case, how on earth did anyone think the narrative of dating the director of the movie you’re starring in was a good idea???
And now with Louis, how did anyone think him being linked with someone with that profile was a smart move???
I know they're not being forced to do anything, but I don't think they choose who they're going to stunt with. Both teams have shown they can handle PR relationships decently, but their recent mistakes are just🤦🏽♀️

Listen, don’t get me wrong, I HATE Harry’s stunts just as much. He’s made plenty of mistakes along the way, and choosing OW for that stunt was definitely one of them. HOWEVER, the difference, in my opinion, is that Harry has always delivered what his audience wanted. It wasn’t for us, but it worked for the majority of his fanbase—people who sexualize him and are super invested in his stunts. As much as we hated it and it didn’t make sense to us, overall, he still kind of hit the mark. Right?
Louis, on the other hand, seems to be targeting a straight male audience at this point, while the majority of his fanbase is LGBT and women. And I just don’t get why. Like, if he wants to be Liam Gallagher, fine. But that’s not what he built his career on. I don’t think they’re blind to this… I think they just want to appeal to a completely different audience now.
I’m not sure it’s even about who they’re choosing to stunt with. Louis doesn’t have the numbers or exposure to pull A-list stunts, so reality TV stars might just be what’s available to him. But to be honest, the real issue is the way they’re pushing this hyper-straight image, he’s genuinely pushing us away on purpose.
God I actually didn’t think the Zara thing would pan out into something but now that it is suppose to be a thing , can we call out how fucking ridiculous it is that he keeps having his sisters social media accounts to do all of the hint droppings for his stunts, like it’s just embarrassing bro . Before Eleanor 2.0 I remember they were all liking Eleanor edits a month before that LA pic resurfaced and here we are In the year 2025 and they haven’t found new tricks…use the sisters to do the brunt work so he can do very little , it’s getting old …we getting old …this is so repetitive pls don’t be 40 years old Louis and still doing this shit man 😂

That article is full of shit and misinformation, they clearly didn’t bother fact-checking. So maybe this is just more of the same. But honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if “fans” just so happen to “casually” spot them in the next few days, if that’s the direction they’re taking with this stunt.
Honestly, if this does become a 'thing', all I'm taking away from this is that LT3 is turning out to be more romantic than FITF, enough that they needed someone to pin it on and that we're going to hear Louis sing on and on about the same love story again some time within the next 1 year.
I agree with this take, but I still question whether Louis actually needed that, did he really need to reinforce some kind of storyline just to write his songs? I get why Harry does need it, it makes a huge difference in how he connects with fans and how promo plays out. But with Louis, I don’t think his fanbase needs that anymore. They’re not looking for a storyline to stay engaged, and they don’t care whether he’s dating a woman or not. So if that’s what’s happening, I’m honestly surprised because it feels completely unnecessary and I’m also surprised that they can’t see that and are wasting time and energy and honestly risking to lose fans because of it.

Well, darling, this stunt game has been going on for about 14 years now, I doubt they’re particularly worried about larries at this point. PR relationships have never really pushed Larries away specifically, tbh. But other moves and different kinds of stunts have definitely driven off not just larries but a huge part of his fanbase. In Louis’ case, he’s clearly trying to rebrand, so maybe that’s exactly what he wants? Honestly, I have no idea.

Alliee, have you read this? I totally agree, and I’d like to add something, but first, let me clarify that I don’t know much about PR and marketing, so I’m speaking more from my experience as a fan:
I’ve also been thinking about why I’ve had such a negative response to Louis’ public image in the last few months and why that didn’t happen with Harry, especially during 2022 and 2023 (which did happen for many fans).
I realized that despite the media, holivia, and emrata heavily pushing the public narrative of Harry, I still connected with him because I saw the real side of Harry at his shows and in some interviews—especially that vulnerability and sensitivity that he’s known for.
But with Louis, it feels totally different because he brings his ‘lads lad’ persona to the stage and almost all his public appearances. I don’t see vulnerability—I see toughness, and it feels inauthentic because that’s not who he is. He’s still sweet. The only real moments we seem to get from him are in pictures with his nieces and nephews and some fan interactions. Personally, I feel like there are very few things that allow me to connect with him right now, and it’s sad.
I’ll still support him, but it’s a bit frustrating at times. I really hope he and his team find a better strategy.

I agree that vulnerability really connects people, and with Louis especially, fans have always had a soft spot for him because of that. From the beginning, he was seen as super sweet and soft, so shutting that down now can feel a little off.
I still see authenticity in him, though. I think leaning into this chav persona is his way of reclaiming his roots, and I’ll always support that—he’s clearly proud of where he comes from, and I love that for him. But I do think he’s pushing it a wayyy too hard and, in the process, neglecting another side of his roots. The same roots that shaped him as an artist—coming from a boyband, being this extremely friendly and comforting presence for fans. It’s a big shift. He’s a complex artist, and it’s totally fair for him to have both sides. But right now, it feels really unbalanced. I can’t blame anyone who’s struggling to find the Louis they always loved in him at the moment. It does seem like he’s pushing that part of himself away more and more, and ironically, that can end up feeling a bit inauthentic too.
