realizes the community's need for the availability of irrigation services through enhancement, development, maintenance, preservation of irrigation networks, and optimization of the functions of irrigation building facilities. It is expected that employees will be able to work optimally in line with the increase in population and economic growth. This study aimed to know how far the influence of teamwork towards work satisfaction and their effect on employee work performance. There were 96 government employees involved in this study and it was conducted in UPT Bah Bolon. The study showed that teamwork affects the job satisfaction of employees. Another result in the study showed that teamwork did affect the employee performance, and job satisfaction of employees affect the employee work performance.

Kinerja karyawan adalah hasil dari karyawan dengan kriteria penilaian spesifik berdasarkan potensi setiap orang. Untuk mencapai kinerja yang diharapkan, organisasi dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan indikator
lingkungan kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di UPT SDA Bah Bolon, Dinas Sumber Daya Air, Cipta Karya dan Tata Ruang Kota Pematangsiantar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data
menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa, komunikasi dalam organisasi diharapkan lebih terbuka untuk meminimalkan kesalahpahaman dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan atau masalah di lingkungan kerja. Untuk kinerja, karyawan diharapkan untuk
mengawasi dan memelihara jaringan irigasi untuk kualitas kerja yang lebih baik.

This study aims to analyze the impact of compensation and competence on teacher motivation and performance. The research object is the teacher of the Tamansiswa Tapian Dolok Private High School, which amounts to 30 people. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents—data analysis using path analysis. The research analysis results showed that the compensation, competence, motivation, and teacher's performance were reasonable. Thus, the results show an effect of balance and competence on teacher motivation and performance.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji dampak gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar. Jumlah anggota populasi adalah 31 orang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner atau sensus. Instrumen penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang dibagikan secara langsung kepada responden untuk mencari data yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dan hasil pengumpulan data menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, variabel gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, variabel budaya sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dan variabel motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Temuan empiris tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, maka SMP Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar perlu memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru, seperti kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan motivasi. Dengan mengetahui pengaruh hubungan tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai parameter untuk merancang strategi dimasa yang akan datang guna meningkatkan kinerja guru. This study aims to examine the impact of principals' leadership style, school culture, and motivation on teacher performance at Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Middle School. The number of members of the population is 31 people. Therefore, this study uses a quantitative descriptive method using a questionnaire or census. The research instrument in this study is a questionnaire that was distributed directly to respondents to look for data related to this study. The data analysis method used is quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The results of the study and the results of data collection showed that partially, the principal leadership style variable had a significant effect on teacher performance, the school culture variable had a significant effect on teacher performance, and the motivation variable had a significant effect on teacher performance. The empirical findings indicate that to improve teacher performance, Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Middle School needs to pay attention to the factors that influence teacher performance, such as principals' leadership, school culture, and motivation. Because by knowing the effect of the relationship can be used as a parameter to design a strategy in the future to improve teacher performance. This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline and work ethic on the performance of Sultan Agung Private Middle School teachers. The number of samples in this study were 31 teachers obtained by the census method. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire that was distributed directly to the teacher as a respondent. Testing research instruments using validity and reliability tests. Data analysis used multiple linear regression, correlation, coef icient of demertination, simultaneous and partial test. The results of the research and hypothesis testing show that work discipline variables and the ethic of apes have a positive and signi icant effect on teacher performance. The empirical indings indicate that in order to improve work discipline at Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Private Middle School there needs to be a transparent system in recruiting permanent teachers who only teach at Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Private Middle School so that the teacher focuses on his/her work. Then to improve the work ethic of Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Private Middle School teachers, the principal as the leader should be able to provide personal and organizational motivation so that every teacher who works can maintain a balance of work ethic competently. Furthermore, to improve performance, every teacher should have the characteristics of self-enhancing potential so that the consistency of teacher professionalism can develop.
