Tale of a romantic life and the Al Hay Allatini that traces the events during the Suhail Idris Al Hay Allatini in Paris tells and has significant impact on the lives of this lebonanese literary scholar and the novel of Al Hay Allatini which represents the return of Arab intellectual life of Paris in the heart of the political, social, Lebanon. This paper examines the effects of images of Paris in the famous story Suhail Idris, the Al Hay Allatini explains. Also we study the world Al Hay Allatini hero to Paris as the city of light and beauty and one of the manifestations of Western Civilization in contemporory Arabic literature and we study thematic and semiotic story trying to study the evolutionary the criticism of the approach.

Discourse in Druze of Belgrade in the new Historicism point of view

New historicism is an approach that emerged in response to traditional methods and traditional hi... more New historicism is an approach that emerged in response to traditional methods and traditional historicism in the late 20th century. New historians consider history a set of conflicting discourses and address the marginalized voices. They believe that what historians write is not an objective recording of the past events but the interpretation and narrative of the past events based on the discourse of historians. Therefore, history has a discursive nature and is a tradition of narration. In 2012 Rabee Jaber the Lebanese novelist won the International Prize for Arabic fiction for his novel "Druze of Belgrade". This thesis tries to examine the novel from the perspective new historicism in order to recognize the relation of text with historical discourses. the results of the study show that there are six discourses represented in this article: the discourse of ottoman government, the discourse of European governments, the dialogue of the Balkans, the discourse of prisoners of prisoners, the discourse of Lebanese Christians, and the discourse of Muslims of the Balkans. It also shows that the novel focuses on the marginalized voices and the victims of sectarian violence and governance, whose representatives are on one side, imprisoned Druze, and by the other, Hanna Yacoub and his family. The novel tries to provide a positive image of Druze, contrary to official discourse of Ottoman Empire.

It is, in fact, part of a series of cultural and social problems in the Third world. In this paper, we have made an effort to elucidate the writer's worldview in this novel. As such, his perspective on the Western and Eastern worlds, especially the conflicts between these two worlds, his idea of Paris, the alteration of his view about the world after making contact with the West, the cultural differences between the west and the east, and finally, the eastern protagonist's excessive admiration for the west is explored in Latin quarter. Unlike Utopia, dystopia represents a city full of poverty, frustration and misery in fiction; it ... more Unlike Utopia, dystopia represents a city full of poverty, frustration and misery in fiction; it is a new phenomenon motivated by human failures and various historical disasters, such as World Wars, the Cold War, the nuclear war, which have led famous writers, like Aldous Huxley and George Orwell, to depict devastation in their novels instead of portraying utopian contexts in the twentieth century. Dystopia has emerged recently in Arabic literature, especially after the events of the Arab Spring, and the complication of various social and political problems in some Arab countries. Ahmed Khalid Tawfik, a contemporary Egyptian writer, was one of the most prominent contemporary writers in the horror genre and, generally, fiction. His Utopian novel, in contrast to his title, depicts a dystopia. The present study was conducted in order to examine, relying on social criticism, especially the views of Lucien Goldmann, the dichotomy of the image of self and others in contemporary Arabic novel and the worldview reflected in this novel.

The beautiful literary methods and different lingual and musical structures in the Holy Koran in so wonderful that in every time it is possible to study it from various aspects and by various methods. Formalism and structuralism could help us to perceive the aesthetical aspects of the Holy Koran. in this article I studied the lingual and musical structures of Sura Taqvir . This study shows that the objective structure has a regular coordination and purposive harmony. Parallelism in musical and lingual repetition is one of the fundamental methods for foregrounding .All of the lingual, grammatical and musical structures are harmonious and in the interest of the religious purposes of the Holy Koran. Therefore Sura Taqvir enjoys regular and harmonious, lingual and musical structures.

Risalat Al-sahel wa Al-shahej is one of the prominent works of Abul'Ala-Al-Ma'arri that th... more Risalat Al-sahel wa Al-shahej is one of the prominent works of Abul'Ala-Al-Ma'arri that the predecessor critics seldom paid attention to it. Abul 'Ala addressed this epistle to the ruler of Halab during 411 or 412 of Hejira. And through it discussed about many of literary, critical, historical and political issues by dialogues between some animals specially a horse, a mule and a fox.
And during these dialogue, he demonstrates many of linguistic, syntactical, prosodic riddles and informations and explains some social and political topics regarding to the relationship between governor of Aleppo and the Fatimid caliphate and the Byzantine Empire. And he describes the status of people due to the crisis happened because of the political deals between the governor of Aleppo and the emperor of Byzantine. This study shows that we can divide the Abu 'Ala's discourse in this epistle to four types: literary, political, social and mental war.

The Islamic civilization in the 10th (A.D) century reached to its peak prosperity with flourishin... more The Islamic civilization in the 10th (A.D) century reached to its peak prosperity with flourishing scientific philosophical and literary activities in the east of the IslamicWorld.one of the samples of this prosperity is the appearance of Ikhwan al-Safa a secret society of unknown philosophers in the cities of Basra and Baghdad. They believed that the Islamic principles must be combined with the Greek philosophy in order to purify Islam from ignorance and adulteration. They came up with a great encyclopedia that included 52 chapters and hence explain their beliefs and teachings. Some times they used fiction to explain their beliefs. The story of the animals litigation about humans tyranny is one such fiction that is included in the twenty second chapter.
In this article authors try to analyze the discourse of Ikhwan al-Safa in this story. The study shows that the discourse is a critical one that includes the layer of Abbasid era. There is rationalism idealism criticism of the some of the social trends during Abbasid as well as political criticism of authoritative governance of that time.

Latin Quarter is one of the famous novels of Suhail Idris, the well-known Lebanese novelist, shor... more Latin Quarter is one of the famous novels of Suhail Idris, the well-known Lebanese novelist, short story writer, journalist and translator (1925-2008). This novel published in 1954, during a critical period in the middle east and in particular the Arab world. The confrontation between East and West is among the issues that have been reflected in many Arab novels during the 20th century. It is, in fact, part of a series of cultural and social problems in the Third world. In this paper, we have made an effort to elucidate the writer’s worldview in this novel. As such, his perspective on the Western and Eastern worlds, especially the conflicts between these two worlds, his idea of Paris, the alteration of his view about the world after making contact with the West, the cultural differences between the west and the east, and finally, the eastern protagonist’s excessive admiration for the west is explored in Latin quarter. Our methodology is Sociocriticism based on the Lucien Goldman's point of view. The results indicate the protagonist’s return to his native culture and city after all his adulations for the west. It seems that this novel reflects the author's experiences, and it is an invitation to Eastern youth to return to their homeland instead of emigration to the west and try to build their own countries and abide by their native traditions.
