Day 2
(decided to make a new post for each day since the original was starting to get a bit full LOL)
Who's your favorite OW character? Or, who do you relate to the most?
It's no secret that I relate to Iggy the most. He just has the most of Me inside of him as a character, from his anxiety, to his journey figuring out his asexuality, to his difficulties dealing with people, even down to a lot of his little mannerisms, much of Iggy came from me.
However, Gidget also has a big part of me in them, as well, especially when it comes to their past experiences and their own struggles with their gender identity. Though each of the OW characters has a little bit of me somewhere in them, these two definitely have the most.
Now, who is my favorite character...? Well... I will just say it's probably pretty obvious LOL 🤭 I can't help it; he is my everything. I think he is the cutest thing ever. He makes my heart flutter. And what's more, he gives me ace catharsis euphoria in his no-questions-asked acceptance and love of Iggy. I love him sob.
Favorite character: Orlam. Need I say more? I could go on and on and on about why I love him, but I've already done that many times before. There's a reason I have proclaimed myself his #1 fan. All in all, I love everything about him and he continues to bring me much joy to this day.
Most relatable character: Iggy, definitely. I've talked about this before, too, but to a lesser extent. So much of his character is so similar to me, it's like somebody straight up read my thoughts and wrote them onto a page. I've even joked that Iggy is me, but as a 30 year old man, lol. Everything from his personality, to his interests, to his inner conflicts—I see myself in all of them. So I'm really happy to see a story centered around a character like that, especially one where he gets a happy ending!
And now for the 2nd part of my anniversary celebration... 30 Days of Our Wonderland! A set of silly and/or thought-provoking prompts about the game and chars for a full month of OW!
I'll be answering them each day. Feel free to join in if you want to! Either creating your own posts or reblogging this one, etc. I'll be using the hashtag #30DaysofOW for all of my answers.
Day 1! (Late, but whatever.)
I first played OW in very late August/early September of 2023. (So I've been a fan of it for more than 1.5 years... time flies.) I actually played T2A2 first, which I found just by scrolling Itch one day randomly. At the time, I really enjoyed Iggy, Genzou and their dynamic, and thought the game was really cute. I wasn't aware there was much more to it, though, until some time later I discovered Our Wonderland, which IIRC I also stumbled upon just looking around Itch. The game instantly caught my eye, since I really like drama, psychological horror, and stories about childhood friends... but I didn't play it. Not at first, at least. The trigger warnings really put me off for a while, and I was worried that it might be too much for me. But my mind just kept going back to the game, the artwork, the characters... it seemed so captivating and interesting, and one day I just said "fuck it", and played the game. And honestly? The only thing I regret is not playing it sooner.
Dear Tumblr souls, you beautiful, strange humans—
you laugh through the pain,
you turn sadness into soft, glowing aesthetics,
you post memes in the darkest hours,
and somehow, your hearts remain warm.
When you feel someone is hurting,
you become shelter—an open hand, asking for nothing in return.
I'm not asking for pity, but right now… I need you.
I'm Kareman from Gaza 🇵🇸🌸.

I'm trying to get through what life threw at me—with an open heart ,We were displaced ,There was bombing everywhere—loud, close, terrifying ,We fled with nothing but our lives.😞💔
Our dreams have changed ,We no longer dream of tomorrow— ,our dream today… is simply to eat.
My son, Hamoud🥹, asks me, “Mama, when is dinner?”
And sometimes… I have no answer.
That kind of pain shouldn't exist in a mother's heart😭.
If you can help🥹❤️, even a little—this is the donation link:
🌸Or PayPal🌸
And if you can't, sharing this could still bring us one step closer to a meal.
Thank you, deeply.🌸"

The war has returned after 15 months of death and genocide. We have never rested. We are losing people every day, most of them children and women... The bombing is everywhere. Our children are afraid...The sound is frightening.😭
There is no food, no drink, no medicine, the crossing is closed and everything is expensive.
‼️We don't want to die. Please donate and help us so we can buy food and medicine for my mother and save ourselves from death. Just donate. 😭🙏😞🫂‼️

Together we can achieve our goal in one day and provide crucial support to my family and children in Gaza
Your contribution means everything to us and in these difficult times your kindness is our greatest hope. We are very grateful for any help you can provide and thank you for your kindness and generosity in our time of need
We have lost everything we have in Gaza from home, work and a decent life and my children have lost their most basic rights to education and treatment and not providing them with the minimum necessities of life
We live in a tent in very cold weather and in extremely difficult conditions
In these days, with the so-called ceasefire, nothing has changed for my children and my family. The situation is very tragic
My children need your generous donation that will change our lives for the better

Hello 👋
I am Haifa from Gaza 🇵🇸
Palestine, mother of three children. We faced many physical and psychological problems due to the war that completely destroyed our home and source of income. My children's health was destroyed due to polluted water and contaminated food. We live in very difficult conditions. We live in a nylon tent and my children shiver from the cold 🥶
My son Yousef, 8 years old, aspired to become an engineer, but the occupation destroyed his talent. Jourie and Joan, the cheerful twins full of humor and fun in our house, are 6 years old and are deprived of education. My children have no future here in Gaza. Help me get out safely.
Otherwise, the price of food has become very expensive, my children make me cry bitterly because I can't provide for their needs because I don't have money. Please your donation and help will mean a lot we have tragedies that need you don't ignore me

A donation of $10 or $20 would mean a lot to the kids.

This is my daughter, Salma, only three months old, born into this "cruel war that has been killing innocent people for two years and is still ongoing." Since her birth, she has felt nothing but fear and hunger, deprived of her most basic rights. She needs food, safety, and a dignified life that every child deserves. Therefore, I appeal to you from the bottom of my heart to support her and extend a helping hand to save her. Your donation today could make a difference in saving her from certain death. Donate here

I am Najah Al-Hila, married to Khaled Muqdad from Gaza City. I am a mother of four young children. My family consists of Waleed, 9 years old, Mira, 6 years old, Ahmed, and Mayar, 3 years old.
Ahmed suffered from head cramps and increased electricity after his birth. He was given medication and had blood tests done every two months to make sure his health was stable. He suffered from these cramps in 2021. My husband also suffered from liver and digestive system problems five years ago and is still suffering from these problems. Over time, my husband was injured during the war, which made things worse for him. We thank God for everything. Because of the instability and unavailability of the medication, we face difficulties in buying medications due to their high prices. Now life has become very difficult and the prices of medications have increased due to their scarcity. Things have become more difficult due to the lack of money and his expensive treatment, which has led to its unavailability due to money. I hope that all donors and supporters will not forget Ahmed and his father Khaled in alleviating their pain by providing the costs of his treatment and buying him the appropriate medicine and food. We also do not forget his brothers from the malnutrition they suffered from during this difficult period.
Please everyone pay attention, I have been away from you for a while due to my health condition. I hope this situation is taken seriously. My husband and children's lives are in grave danger, I hope you do not suffer what he suffered. May your children and loved ones be safe and sound. I hope you help in their treatment and that their condition, which has worsened over time, stabilizes. Save Khaled and Ahmed from this disease that has afflicted them, please. Help us.
Note: My husband Khaled was working as a teacher before the war and obtained a teaching certificate from Al-Aqsa University and became an Arabic language teacher, but he was not lucky enough to find a job, so he became a worker due to the poor economic situation we are going through. At the end of my talk, he became injured and unable to work in this current situation. I hope you do not forget this and take it into consideration that there is a mother who seeks to preserve her husband and children by fighting for them. Your support is a support for me in these critical moments that we are living in and we may not live due to the repeated attacks by the occupation and the failure to reach an agreement to end the war.
We are now living in dilapidated tents, my child and husband are suffering.
We can no longer provide the necessities of life. My family's future is completely destroyed. I can no longer live in Gaza. I want to leave the Strip and treat my child and husband, so I need $5,000 per person.
I hope that everyone who watches my story will help me.
To get out of Gaza and find treatment and a better life for my children and family.
I am asking for help, and I hope that you will help me and donate to me.
To save my life from death.
This will save my child's life. My husband's life. Donate to help Ahmed and his father evacuate Gaza.

it's very surreal to see posts about palestine dwindling down after the ceasefire. israel is still blocking aid to and trying to make life difficult for palestinians in gaza. we still have to continue to speak up about gaza.
in this ceasefire, many palestinians are trying to rebuild in attempts to try and return to what they had before the genocide. despite the heavy and unbearable loss of life that gaza has experienced, her people continue to try to make a better world for their children.
alaa is a mother of two young children. she wants to rebuild her house and get a better future for her children. please have heart and consider helping her out. her fundraiser has been verified.
it's been seven days since the last donation. please please share and consider donating if you can. alaa has to get enough money to rebuild her house to ensure her children's well being.
