The only way to combat loneliness is to spread joy and love. I love the world I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you

(Quds) “Israel attempted to kill American doctors after CNN interview.”

Hours after a CNN interview, where they spoke about the Israeli genocide and denounced the complicity of the US and European countries, Israel attempted to kill two American volunteer doctors when airstrikes deliberately targeted Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis last Sunday.

IOF are threatening Palestinian women who testify against them or give interviews regarding the abuse they suffered during detention & captivity. IOF sexual violence took place during home invasions & at checkpoints, where women were forced to strip & perform humiliating acts in front of soldiers.

answering a couple questions i got on this post since i realized ppl genuinely wanna know:

tl;dr:

  1. israel lets very, very little aid get into gaza. even the UN can't get in as much as they want to. funding individual families, gazan led initiatives, and mutual aid collectives operating out of gaza ensures gazans can provide for themselves and pay for the extremely expensive aid that is available.
  2. with all the civil infrastructure destroyed by israel, the situation on the ground has devolved into unrestricted capitalism, driving up the price of aid (that should be free!). this makes it more urgent for people to have funding for daily survival.

the post linked above has examples of how donating to individual families can help a lot. if you want to help more than one family at a time, there are many gazan-led initiatives focusing on rebuilding their infrastructure and distributing aid fairly that are worth donating to instead of large charities that already get the majority of donations.

as i mentioned in the last post: @/careforgaza on twitter is a nonprofit started by gazans, it's been endorsed by multiple palestinian journalists.

the sameer project is a collective organized by diaspora palestinians offering emergency shelter to gazans.

ele elna elak is a project aiming to bring water, food, shelter, etc. to gazans and has been promoted by bisan owda.

all of these organizations are active inside gaza right now and are being run by gazans. if anyone knows of other gazan-led mutual aid projects, nonprofits or charities feel free to link them in the notes! hope this helped!

long answers under the cut!

plugging gaza soup kitchen for those with the means to donate! it's another gazan-led initiative currently providing food, water, classes for children, and medical care across the north and south. you can donate through their website or their gofundme, or follow them on instagram for news about their projects

please also consider taking a look at dahnoun mutual aid (instagram link), another ghazzawi-run initiative doing great work using very little funds! they're currently distributing winter clothes for young children, as well as food and water, infant formula, tents, and cash. they've also got a chuffed

"This is Hossam’s team, and we are sharing his final message :

“If you’re reading this, it means I have been killed—most likely targeted—by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old—a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents—anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people’s side.

By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest—something I haven’t known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.

I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free.”

— For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza."

The ongoing conflict in Gaza has had a devastating impact on civilians, with the United Nations reporting that nearly 70 percent of the deaths are women and children. This alarming statistic highlights the severe humanitarian crisis affecting families in the region. The widespread destruction and loss of life have drawn international concern, as innocent people continue to suffer amid the escalating violence. As a woman without an income, I struggle to provide food and clothing for myself and my family. I urge those who can help to donate and support those in need during this difficult time.

The situation in Gaza is particularly tragic due to several key factors:

1. High Civilian Casualties – A significant portion of the victims are non-combatants, including children and the elderly.
2. Vulnerable Populations – Women and children are disproportionately affected, with little means to escape the violence.
3. Humanitarian Crisis – Limited access to food, water, and medical care worsens the suffering of survivors.
4. Generational Impact – The psychological and social consequences of war will affect generations to come.

As the conflict persists, calls for an immediate ceasefire and increased humanitarian aid grow louder. Organizations around the world are urging world leaders to take action to prevent further loss of innocent lives. But beyond political solutions, the people of Gaza urgently need direct support. Without income, I struggle to access basic necessities.

I am a weak and oppressed woman living in Gaza, struggling every day while everyone ignores my suffering. I have no income, no food, and no clothing. Please, I am desperate and willing to clean your shoes or do any work in exchange for any help you can offer. I just need to survive😭💔.

@chronogyne

unfortunately she is also actively perpetuating settler colonialism in mexico… watch out for the way political leaders and groups use the palestinian cause to whitewash their own anti indigenous activities or otherwise use it for political purposes

i’m not mexican and i don’t know all the ins and outs of this issue but generally when there is indigenous opposition to an environmentally devastating project i tend to side with the opposition, if someone with more knowledge on this matter has something to correct or add please do

She is also turning a blind eye towards a very significant cartel killing camp that the police had "secured"

I am mexican and although i'm very relieved Sheinbaum is following the pro-Palestine attitude our country has had for years, i implore non-mexicans to not glorify her or turn a blind eye towards the faults she has.

i hope you are sharing meals with the people you love, for me as of today, i only hope kholood ( @kholoodpals ) and her family can have food at the very least, because to know them safe and healed seems a wonder now, as we all heard of the end of the ceasefire, and we knew it for the lie it was, and we saw how aid was used as both hope and cruelty.
through this the true hope that palestinians have had is us, people who can care where kt matters, when it matters, and as it should matter or so i hope. this hasn't changed, and i know that in strife aiding seems just to live in suffering, but i hope for one day for everyone to find joy in helping, when the cruelty of a genocide doesn't hang over us.
please know your efforts are not just for kholood, but also her baby, her husband, her brother and her mother, all of them need us, and we can help them, i know money is not always possible, but sharing always is, i ask you as well to try to reach out beyond here, and also, to kholood if you have the time, a few words are enough to get through a day sometimes right? hell, sometimes just sitting down and eating together is enough, please reach out, help kholood now, donate and share as soon as possible 🙏🏽

there's also a link for chuffed if anyone can donate or prefers to aid there:

thanks for helping if you've done so, and hope we can hold your hands in the future here as well, we do need each other and so does kholood's family then.

tagging for reach:

+ tags with chuffed link.
