A Joyless Eid in Gaza

Eid is here, but it brings us nothing but more pain 💔. No new clothes 👕, no children’s laughter 😔, no scent of freshly baked sweets 🍪 filling the streets, no warm embraces between loved ones 🤲. Here in Gaza, where children should be holding their parents’ hands on their way to the playground 🎡, they are being carried lifeless to overcrowded hospitals, drenched in their own blood 🩸.

The bakeries are closed 🏚️, food is running out 🍽️, and water is scarce 🚱. For two months, the borders have been sealed 🚧, tightening the grip of starvation and slow death upon us ⚠️. There are no sweets for the children—sometimes, not even a piece of bread 🥖❌. We are not asking for much, just the right to live, to survive 🕊️.

If you are reading this, remember that families in Gaza are waiting for a meal to ease their hunger 🍲, for a child to sleep without fear or pain 😢. Please, don’t leave us alone. Even a small donation or a simple word of support can make a difference 🙏.

🍉 Help the Al-Habil family from Gaza

It's been some time since the ceasefire wss declared on Gaza, but life is still difficult for many Palestinians in terms of food, safety, health, and stability. My friend Malak from the Al-Habil family is one of many.

Malak messaged me the other day with worries about safety

And the day after, Malak begged me to come help the younger brother, who has problems with his eyesight. With the genocide and violence from the past 2 years, it is hard to come by medical aid, let alone earn money to afford it.

You can help the Al-Habil family with their needs via GFM

The Al-Habil family is #305 on @/el-shab-hussein & @/nabulsi's vetted fundraiser list

As the end of Ramadan (Eid al-Fitr) approaches, Malak's family still struggle with daily life. The children need clothing and would love some new toys if possible.

The image above from the vetted fundraiser lists that there are at least 12 family members, with 1 chronically ill adult, 2 chronically ill children, all with injuries, and 1 martyred family member.

Remember, access to aid in Gaza is hard to come by given the current situation, and many Palestinians are immuno-compromised or disabled/injured due to the attacks and lack of proper sanitation.

Please help make the Al-Habil family's Eid a little brighter this year: GFM

Please Stop you can make a difference even it's little ❤️🥺

Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home 🏡. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.

Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I loved—some of them are gone forever. 💔

dear friends,

We are currently facing an unimaginable and heartbreaking situation in Gaza. After receiving orders from the Israeli Forces to evacuate our area, we were forced to leave our tent, running for safety while bombs rained down around us. We fled with nothing, seeking refuge in another area that, unfortunately, is just as unsafe, leaving us exposed to constant danger.

Now, we are living in tent whicg needs new setting, enduring the cold, rain, and the constant fear of more attacks. The lack of basic necessities like food, clean water, and medical supplies is taking a heavy toll on us. Prices for essential goods have skyrocketed, and it’s becoming impossible to meet even the most basic needs for survival.

We are urgently asking for help. We need immediate support to provide food, shelter, medical aid, and funds to help us get through these difficult days. Without assistance, our survival is uncertain, and we are reaching out to anyone who can offer help in these desperate times.

If you are able to contribute, whether it’s through donations, sharing post, or offering any kind of support, it will make a life-saving difference. Your generosity can help us stay alive and find hope amidst this crisis.

Please, stand with us during this devastating time and help us survive the hardships we are facing. Every bit of support counts, and we are truly grateful for anything you can do.

Thank you for your compassion and solidarity.

**Time is Running Out**

Imagine enduring a harsh winter in a tent made of tarpaulin, with nothing to shield you from the elements.

Every day brings the threat of freezing temperatures, and rainwater can flood our small space, putting us at risk of drowning. The cold can lead to serious health issues, such as chest infections and chronic illnesses.

I am pleading for help to save my family from this life-threatening situation.

Please, we need your support to escape this danger and find a safe place to live.

$3,158 USD raised of $20K goal!

Ahmad is only 14 years old and dreams of becoming a doctor. He is living with his 16-year-old sister and his parents. He is fundraising so they can buy basic necessities!

You can enter my freshwater pearl necklace raffle if you donate to this fundraiser!

It is interesting how posts about misogyny would receive thousands of notes (rightfully so), but when a Palestinian man requests for help, he is often dismissed, ignored, and humiliated. He is obligated to step down and have a female family member be the face of fundraiser. It would be his wife, his daughter, his sister, his mother.

This is exactly what Ayah is going through. Before GFM has unjustly terminated her fundraiser, her husband, Mohammed Al-Habil, would promote their fundraiser across different social media platforms. You would be see his face in the photos, along with their 3 young children, Ahmed (8), Osama (6), and Mira (4). Then, for their new campaign, Ayah is in the spotlight.

This should not be the case. (It should never be the case!) Gender should not determine who is worthy of support. Especially in the middle of an accelerated genocide. Everyone is experiencing the extreme violence, the manufactured famine, the brutal dehumanization from the Zionist entity.

So please show your support to both Ayah and Mohammed! Donate to their fundraiser! Donations have been painfully slow. They would go on days without one!

My name is Nour, and I’m 21 years old from northern Gaza.

I once lived a peaceful life with simple dreams, but everything changed on October 7th, 2023, when war tore through Gaza. I had to flee my home, leaving behind everything I knew, and now I live alone in a tent made of torn fabric in southern Gaza.

The constant bombings are unbearable, but being a lesbian in a society that rejects me is even harder.

I live in constant fear of judgment and violence. On top of this, I face extreme shortages of food, water, and basic supplies.

Life has become a daily fight for survival.

Dear LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters around the world, I turn to you in my time of desperate need. I have no one else to ask for help. The world around me looks at me with disgust, and I can no longer bear this life. I am exhausted, broken, and alone. Please, I beg you, help me leave this place and find safety, dignity, and a chance to live as myself. I cannot survive here any longer. Your support is my only hope.

Every day, I fear for my life. But I refuse to give up. I want to live. Please, your support can make all the difference. Every donation, no matter how small, gives me hope for a better tomorrow.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Save my father please ‼️🚨

My friend, don't make me say goodbye to my father. 😭 The only thing left of my family. A month and a half ago, I lost my mother, who was taking her last breaths. 😭💔 I don't want my father to let his last breaths be in front of my eyes, just like I lost my mother. 😭😭 When I lost my mother, I had no choice, and now I have no choice but to lose my father. 😭😭 I don't want my father to die. The matter seems very difficult for him. Do you imagine what I mean, my friend?

I can't write these words, I bleed while writing this, I can't describe and I scream at the doctors and tell them I don't want my father to die, but no one is with me, and my father is independent in intensive care, and his body is completely covered with wires and electronic devices inside the intensive care, and my father lives on artificial oxygen, and his swollen eyes ask me for help 💔😭😭 and I have nothing but pain and tears 😭😭😭

My father is sick with Sultan's disease and hepatitis, and they told me that either you pay to get a battery for the heart machine, or we will remove your father's oxygen and take him out of intensive care, and he will die immediately. 😭💔😭

My friend, please, I am begging you. Can you imagine what it means to my father and the pain inside me? Can you imagine the life I am living? My friend, your donation will save the life of a human being like us, just like each other. We must help each other, my friend.

Can you imagine my father's life shattered and trapped between death or life, just a number on a piece of paper, and my father needs your donation to save his life? 😭🙏🏻

I haven't slept for days because of the conditions of saving my father. I see my father at the door of intensive care surrounded by machines and wires. My eyes are tearing up because I can't save my father and he is breathing with difficulty. I am afraid. Will this be my last day? 😭😭

Will my life become dark after my father's departure? 😭💔 Will I continue to imagine my father in front of my eyes during his departure? 😭😭 Imagine? Imagine?

When I hold my father's hand, I feel warmth and tenderness because there is no one in my family but my father, and I lost my sisters and everyone who cares about me, but my father is in danger and his last hours could be in a few minutes, my friend, donate when you see this, please, please, the matter is urgent 😭😭

I don't ask much from you. I just want my father to live and be my support. I want him to hug me and feel his warmth and tenderness and make up for the loss of my family.😭🙏🏻

I beg you please my friend please help my father don't let my father go don't let my life be dark I have no one but my father please donate please my friend save my father 🙏🏻

Traumatized in Ireland While my Family is Facing Death and Starvation in Gaza

Note: Vetted by:

1. @el-shab-hussein and @nabulsi # 151 on the spreadsheet of Vetted Gaza Fundraisers List]

I contemplate the happy faces of people around me here in Ireland and reminisce about the happy normal life my family and I had before the war. A life that turned into a distant memory for us and was replaced by an unending series of horrible nightmares.

Unlike my family in Gaza, people here have access to drinking water, all types of food, electricity, and a roof over their heads. Above all, they are safe, and I cannot help but wonder if they genuinely do appreciate these blessings in their lives enough.

People seem relaxed and laughing wholeheartedly around me in Ireland. I wish I could laugh too, but I am crushed way beyond recovery on the inside. I was evacuated by my Irish college after five months of living the horrors of war in Gaza. I hope you will never know what it feels like to live in constant fear and worry and be horrified by the most sickening and scary nightmares every single night while you are far away from your family in such circumstances.

When did my people in Gaza cease to be human beings worthy and deserving of a normal life? Has it become normal now for my family in Gaza to be starved and killed while the whole world is watching the genocide? If that is the case, then you will have to excuse me if I seek every avenue to bring them to Ireland and start a new normal life like all people here around me.

I was assured by the Irish Reugee Council (IRC) and lawyers in Ireland that there is hope I can reunite with my family in Ireland. In difficult times, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For me and my family, you are literally our light and hope for a better life.

Trapped in a Vicious Cycle of Suffering in Gaza

Displacement, torture, agony, hunger, fear, and death. This is the daily reality in Gaza. Every day, people receive warnings to evacuate before another wave of relentless Israeli airstrikes. And every day, the same desperate question echoes across the strip: Where do we go?!

Gaza has become a living hell. You cannot blame us for longing for a safe, normal life, for seeking a place where we can reunite as a family and rebuild what was torn apart. Can you?! Wouldn't you strive to do the same at any cost?!

01/04/2025: At 75% of our final goal and getting there, hopefully.

This is the worst Eid I have ever experienced in my entire life. I lost all my friends in the war and I am left alone here suffering from the pain of loss. I used to go and visit my friends, but today I went to their homes and found their mothers collapsing from crying and grieving over the loss of their sons. We used to meet and go out and spend a pleasant time together, but unfortunately today I went and visited them in the cemetery and sat next to them all day crying from the intensity of my pain and regret. How difficult this feeling is for me and I cannot bear it!!! 😭
