Writerblr intro

[Because my old one was crusty and in dire need of a revamp]

Hello lovely person who stumbled upon this blog! I'm glad to have you and I welcome you to my writeblr! Let's start with a little writer introduction, shall we?

About me~

✨ 21+

✨ she/her

✨ You can call me anything you want! I don't have preferences in names!

✨ Animal lover! (proud owner of three dogs and four cats!)

✨ English is NOT my first language. Motherlanguages are Italian-German.

✨ I only write in German so everything you see here got translated.

✨ You can go check out my Pinterest where you can find boards of some of my OCs!

About my writing~

My favorite genres to write in are fantasy and romance (I dabble in other genres, but those are my main ones). I just love the fluff, the angst, the magic, everything to do with those genres.

I have a lot of WIPs, and I won't bore you by listing them all (because, let's be honest, the number can change at any moment.) But I do have some stories I've finished and translated that I can list!

"Humans, vampires. They always existed, they always fought for a place in this vast world. Some succeed, some lose themself in the journey to freedom. Thana was different. She never fought, she never stepped out of line. Thana gave up. She had nothing to fight for, nothing to hold onto.

But what would happen if one accident forces her out of her comfort zone? What would happen if she had to fight for something she had long forgotten? Fight for people she thought meant nothing to her?"

Crime/Mystery/Thriller/Vampires

"There was once a castle. It was huge and dark, not a soul dared to go near it. It was called "The Gate of the Underworld" because a lonely man lived there. Rumor had it that he was a demon who had crawled out of hell.

There was once a simple family. They had a healthy boy. He had black curls. They were so dark that even the night was afraid to get lost in them. His eyes were so bright that even the sun had to look away to avoid being blinded. His voice silenced the birds so that they could listen to him.

The little boy grew up healthy, unaware of the background to his birth. On his eighteenth birthday, he received two suitcases and a letter that would change his whole life.

Will he be able to adjust to his new life, or will he throw it all away?"

Romance/Drama/Fantasy/LGBTQ+

"Molly Potts is an ordinary young woman who lives with her family in a small village in the middle of nowhere. Despite her peaceful life, she feels a great need to leave, to go somewhere where she can experience something instead of dying of boredom. But her monotonous life is quickly thrown off course when she and her brother discover something that will shake up their entire lives. And who is this woman who keeps appearing in her dreams?"

Fantasy/Adventure/Romance/Greek Mythology insipired

"As the title already explains, this is a collection of short stories that are too short to become a book, but still wanted to be told."

a lot of different genres

"No one knew when it had begun. No one knew when the world had decided to destroy itself. But everyone knew that it was no longer safe. She thought she was safe, she thought the madness couldn't touch her, but all it took was a faint whisper, a tender promise, to drag her into damnation. Will she be able to free herself? Or will she discover things she is not up to?"

Dystopian, Mystery, Drama

WIPs

There are some WIPs I mentioned here and there, so I will make a little introduction for those~

"Leon Martens. A young art teacher ready to start a new life. He has a new job, a new apartment and maybe a change for peace. Sure, he struggles with human interactions and he'd rather not meet any humans in general, but he's happy with what he has. But since fate was something Leon couldn't prevent, he was thrown into a whirlwind of situations that made him question reality and, more than once, his own mental stability."

Fantasy/Mystery/Romance/LGBTQ+

"Daisy ran, she ran as fast as her legs could carry her. She fled from a fate that was being forced upon her. She fled from her pack, or rather, from her alpha. The young Daisy was an omega. Ever since she was born, she knew that being born an omega was a curse. Her alpha believed that she belonged to him, that he could mark her, but Daisy wouldn't let that happen. Daisy wanted freedom, but what if her freedom led her into another pack? Will they be the same? And who is this nameless alpha that is considered as monster but manages to make her forget her fear?"

Werewolves/Romance/Drama

"Sophie is an easily excitable, cheerful young girl. She lives with her aunt after her parents tragically passed away. Unfortunately, she doesn't remember much about them since she was just a baby. Her aunt and her border collie, Pepper, are the only ones Sophie has in her heart, and she'll spend the rest of her life with them. The only problem with her idyllic life is that little old Sophie has the attention span of a squirrel and it's hyperactivity. She misplaces, forgets, runs around, misplaces again, and those silly dreams and sudden flashes don't help. Also, who is this tall man who suddenly appears and claims that Sophie has visions? No, those are not visions, she just has a very vivid imagination, right?"

Fantasy/Adventure/Comedy

"Adelaide Blackmore, the gossip of all Povington. Growing up as the youngest of four children, with three full-grown and well-behaved sons, she was the worst thing that could have happened to her parents. Wild red hair that the maid had to style every day in vain. Her chemise dresses always had to be dark in color, as she didn't feel the need to avoid puddles or stay out of mud. The look in her dark eyes was penetrating, never receding. She grew up with three brothers, her whole childhood was spent fighting with the boys, so her noble mother couldn't expect her to grow up as a lady, not when she had to assert herself on a daily basis.

But Adelaide must be married, or her poor mother may never rest in peace. Enter Mr. Duncan Gilingham. A young man in his early 30s, he has just moved to Povington with his dear mother to find peace in the country. How nice, he was not married yet! But… oh dear, no wonder he is not married, the poor man was blind. How will Adelaide deal with this? Will she have pity on him, or is not even his blindness safe from her sharp tongue? How will she react when she finds in him a match for her rude nature, a man she thought incapable of taking care of himself?"

Romance/Drama

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I am not a big rambler because I don't want to annoy anyone but I'm always open to questions or any sort of interactions. Also, i'm very tag game friendly!

Thank you for reading this far, I appreciate it! You are an amazing human being, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Nine Lines, Nine People~

Thank you @willtheweaver for the tag~

From a short story i'm working on, with no title of course~

Enjoy~

"Does the test really have to be tomorrow? What if some of us can't make it?"

Many of the other students agreed. Obviously, no one wanted to take the test. But since it was on the schedule and I had to stick to it, there was no way out.

I stroked my short-cropped, slightly graying dark strands. On a sixteen-year-old like Dennis, it looked effortless, casual, but on a man in his early forties who got up tired and went to bed exhausted every day, it looked anything but cool.

"Then you'll miss the test, simple as that." I explained without sugarcoating it. Dennis' face fell and he seemed genuinely stressed about it, but the bell was ringing, so my sympathy for his potential problems was no longer being paid for, so I ignored it.

Heads Up, Seven up/Seven Sentence Someday Tag~

Thank you for the tags @finickyfelix and @theink-stainedfolk!

Here are seven(ish) sentences from "Daisy". Enjoy~

"You're not going to do anything." Then he looked to his partner, who shook poor Daisy's hair violently to emphasize the point, so that a nice cry came from her. izrail whimpered slightly and stepped towards them, but the Beta pulled Daisy further away, out of izrail's reach.

He wanted to take her in his arms, hide her and protect her. Take her far away, as he should have done at their first meeting.

"I'll make you a deal." Izrail's ears twitched and he turned to the Beta behind him, eyes wide open. "Daisy will not be harmed if..." He pointed his long finger at the Alpha. "You come with me."

Find the Word tag~

Thank you @willtheweaver for the tag!

My words are: fish, grip, labor, protest

Fish [The Secrets of The Sea]

His green eyes were tender as he said, "The only ones awake before you are the fish." I laughed as I nodded vigorously.

Grip [Daisy]

Daisy forced herself not to shake as the unknown man led her into the dark forest. She couldn't help but notice how large his hand was in comparison to hers. Daisy's hand disappeared in the Alpha's grip. She tried to tell herself that it couldn't be bad, but she also internally yelled at herself, calling herself naive and stupid for just following an alpha. It was the stupidest thing she had ever done, but her ankle hurt and she wanted it to stop.

Labor

Protest [Daisy]

Izrail wanted to protest and somehow convince her to stay with him now that they had finally found each other, but he pulled himself together. He would not refuse any of her wishes, no matter how much he was against it.

Your words are: Ordinary, sanctuary, dust, clouds

Seven Sentences Someday

Thank you for the tag @willtheweaver and @keeping-writing-frosty

Sentence from my upcoming WIP:

Pravee’s blade slashed through the air, missing Hazlan’s throat by a breath as the man twisted away with infuriating ease. “Getting slow, Talvelai?” Hazlan taunted, his own sword flicking out in a deadly arc that Pravee barely dodged. Their boots scraped against the bloodstained dirt, eyes locked, hatred burning hotter than the torches around them. Pravee lunged, Hazlan parried, and for a split second, their faces were so close that Pravee could see the smirk curling at the edges of Hazlan’s lips. Smug bastard. With a snarl, he shoved forward, but Hazlan grabbed his wrist, yanking him off balance, their bodies colliding in a mess of clashing steel and ragged breaths. "If you want me dead so badly," Hazlan whispered against his ear, his grip tightening, "you'll have to try harder."

Heads Up Seven Up tag:

Thanks for the tag @tragedycoded (his post here)!

I am going to cheat slightly, since I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be the last seven lines I wrote, but I decided instead to go with some lines from a bit earlier, because they're way better than my current last seven lines. Anyway. This is from Faded Daisy's sequel, which now has a title, by the way (Foxglove Dust.) This sounds like an ending but it's not, it's from the middle of chapter one.

Content warning for mild references to past suicidal ideation. I'm unsure if I need to put it under a cut or not. It's very mild, and I don't like putting things under cuts if I don't have to because I'm pretty sure fewer people will read it if I do. But I'll feel guilty if I leave it out in the open, so I guess I'll put it under a cut anyway.

Character + Room tag~

Thank you @theink-stainedfolk and @inseasofgreen for the tag!

Make a character with this Picrew then make that character’s room (if they have one, if no then just imagine one up) with this one.

Here is Azul~

And here is his room (let's pretend he has one for this fun game, okie?)

He doesn't need furniture, just somewhere he can throw his tired body onto after a day of commiting crime working.

Happy Late STS!!! What’s a moment in your writing journey where you felt like you truly “leveled up” as a writer, and what did you learn from that experience?

Avatar

Hey there and thank you for the ask! (and sorry for being so late whoops)

I've never really felt a conscious "level up" moment, to be honest. I realize I've grown as a writer when I read my old writing and compare it to newer creations. Even in formatting and paragraphing, I've grown. Even in my use of words. I was quite lacking in my vocabulary when I started writing. But I couldn't pinpoint a real "I've really leveled up" moment even if I wanted to.

I've learned a lot on my journey, and I'm sure I'll learn more, because that's part of it.

Thank you for the ask!!!

Happy WBW! Are any locations in your fantasy world(s) based on or inspired by a real-world locale/place?

Avatar

Hi there, thank you for the ask~

When I write and describe a place in one of my stories, I rarely think before I describe it. I just go with the flow and let the place describe itself. The closest places to the real world are the woods and all the nature-based places, because there's a lot of that where I live.

Thank you again for the ask!!!

Last Line Tag~

Thank you @finickyfelix for tagging me!

Here the last lines i wrote for "Adelaide". Enjoy~

~~~
"Little farm girl, tell me, are we in the right place? Are we in Povington?"
Farm girl. I almost had to laugh. I couldn't blame her for thinking that. I was carrying a basket of fruit, my dress was brown around the edges from dirt and mud, my hair was out of its bun, and what wasn't tucked under my bonnet to save my hairdo was blowing in the light breeze. I didn't look like a noblewoman, but I wasn't "a little girl" either.
Writing Share Tag~
Thank you @theink-stainedfolk for the tag!
Here a bit from "Daisy". Enjoy~
"What the hell is going on?"
The humans split up, giving way to their Alpha, followed by his wife.
"What is this useless show of force?"
He looked at Izrail, who held his gaze. Then to his son, whose hair Daisy had finally let go of. "You are grown men with a working mouth. Use it!"
Ledger slammed his walking stick down angrily, making Daisy jump. His now glowing eyes bored holes into Izrail, but he didn't care. "You. Just because you decided to leave our pack doesn't mean you can go after my people. This isn't about belonging to us or not, it's about respect, and you're showing none."
Izrail felt shame rise, and for the first time since his first meeting with Ledger, he didn't hold his gaze, lowering it to the ground.
"And you."
Alpha Ledger turned angrily to his son, who had already lowered his head.
"We raised you better than that," he growled, and that seemed to be enough to hit Jacob hard. Daisy saw him chewing his lips and his eyes watering.
"Sheila, please take them to Aspen so they can tend to their wounds." Diana's soft voice rang out. The Omega nodded to her, and without saying a word, she left, followed by the others.
New WIP!!!
Beneath Quiet Skies
---
In a world slowly healing from the scars of war, Isla Cavendish prefers the quiet sanctuary of books and art over the glittering expectations of society. With a sharp mind and a reserved nature, she has mastered the art of being unseen—until Carlisle Sinclair steps into her life.
Once a decorated fighter pilot, Carlisle has returned home, seeking purpose in a life no longer dictated by duty in the skies. Polished, charming, and impossibly kind, he is everything a gentleman ought to be. But from the moment he meets Isla, he realizes that beneath her composed exterior lies a heart he longs to understand.
As fate intertwines their paths again and again, unspoken desires and lingering glances build a tension neither can ignore. In a world where emotions are often hidden behind propriety, their connection simmers beneath the surface—undeniable, inescapable, and utterly consuming.
But love, like the sky, is vast and unpredictable. And sometimes, the most beautiful things take time to take flight.
Last Line Tag:
Thanks for the tag @leahnardo-da-veggie (her post here)! Apologies for sitting on this tag for several days; I didn't have a good last line because I have barely written in days until now.
Anyway, this is from Faded Daisy's sequel which still does not have a name.
What a way to go, dying of cold he could barely feel in a night so dark he couldn't see himself die. Assuming hypothermia could even affect him now, of course; that was untested data.
I am going to tag my tag list, as always, as well as open tag for anyone else who wants to show me their last line!
Silent Someday Tag~
Thank you @orphanheirs for the tag!
Rules: Write something without any dialogue, inner dialogue aka thoughts is allowed but that's it, thoughts and actions, to keep the scene/snippet/whatever you wish 'silent'
Daisy screamed in horror. Jacob stumbled backwards, holding his now bleeding nose. Terrified, Daisy looked at Sheila, but she still didn't seem to want to intervene. Full of rage, Jacob lunged at Izrail, or at least he tried, for the taller man knocked him to the ground with a single push. The people now stopped to watch. The men attacked each other without remorse. Everything around them was ignored as they took out their anger on each other. Daisy didn't want to watch, but she was frozen.
Why didn't Sheila do something? Why did she just watch? Sheila was the one who could do it best. Daisy didn't want to interfere, she couldn't.
We have to help mate.
An electrifying sensation ran through Daisy's body that she had never felt before. Sheila had noticed the young woman's posture and gave her a helping push. Daisy had been overcome by the protective instinct that could only be found between mates. Sheila knew this feeling and had been waiting for the moment when it would appear in Daisy, and now it had finally come.
Help mate, protect mate.
Daisy didn't care that she was getting into a fight, she didn't care that she was in danger of getting hit herself. She had to help Izrail, come what may. With Sheila's push, she stumbled forward and approached the fighting men. Neither Izrail nor Jacob noticed her. Joshua, who had been standing off to the side watching in horror as his brother and the Alpha beat each other up, widened his eyes in shock as he saw Daisy approaching. He tried to pull her back, but Sheila stopped him. Daisy needed to learn to take matters into her own hands, and this was a good time to learn.
Blinded by the protective instinct, Daisy grabbed a handful of Jacob's hair as he lunged again to punch Izrail's now bleeding nose. He screamed as he was yanked backwards. His hands wrapped around Daisy's wrists, but she didn't let go despite her fear, pulling him away from her mate.
~~~~

Nine Lines, Nine People + Seven Sentence Someday

Thank you for the tags @theink-stainedfolk and @finickyfelix!

Here you go, some sentences from "Daisy". Enjoy~

~~~
"What are you going to do? Drag her away, lock her up, and forget what happened? If the Alpha attacks, it will affect you too. And then what?"
His grip on Daisy's hand tightened, as if he hoped her touch would calm him down. Unfortunately, he couldn't deny Diana's words. He did not know what to do next. He had never had to take care of anyone before, especially someone as delicate as Daisy. He knew how to take a life, but not how to protect one. He swallowed his anger and went to discuss it with the couple, but Daisy stepped forward and placed her hand on his chest before he could begin. "It's okay." Daisy whispered to him. Her expression became serious as she turned to the couple. "You gave me a home when I lost mine, and you've always been good to me. I don't want to be a burden to you anymore."
Then she nodded respectfully, thanking them for their kindness.
"We will leave now."
She grabbed Izrail's hand and pulled him out of the waiting room behind her. Daisy had made her choice. She had lost her home once before, but this time it would be different. This time she would not suffer, for this time it was she who would turn away.
She would leave this pack.
