For many organizations, cloud computing delivers significant operational flexibility for continued success and business value. In this risk assessment, three components of web application security are identified for analysis. The goal of this document is to provide context about quantifiable risk for a hypothetical, software development team that deploys a cloud-based provider host to implement a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and a Relational Database Service (RDS). In this scenario, employees on the remote team privately access the VPN in order to collaborate remotely over a secure network, and maintain the RDS. The two technological components of the software development team will be analyzed with respect to three data assets of the web application: to determine the vulnerabilities and the likelihood of threats posed from malicious actors; to estimate the impact if an attack were to occur; to survey applicable controls and costs for mitigating threats; and to provide and implement a worked example in practice. To support web application security into the near future, the implementation of software development products must embrace an organizational risk tolerance that balances constraints from applicable regulations, and vulnerabilities identified in the risk assessment methodology.

Background: Insecticide resistance and vector-feeding behavior changes have recently challenged malaria vector control. All this causes the vectors to forfeit the benefits of insecticide-based control tools. Searching for other control tools for immediate and future use is important. This study evaluated the gravid Anopheles gambiae s.s. response to habitat water with a background of different colors. Methods: Green, black, red, and blue were selected as background colors based on previous literature searches. The experiments were set up in a Latin square with drops out of colors and fewer eggs. Fresh habitat water was used on each experimental day. The egg count was done for two consecutive days. Results: The results of this study showed that the position of the oviposition substrate had no influence on gravid mosquito response. The highest number of eggs was laid on the green background in all stages of the experiments. The interaction of experimental days, position, and the number of eggs laid had no statistical significance. Conclusion: The findings of this study have shown that the habitat water coupled with a green-colored background influences most oviposition site selection by gravid An. gambiae. This shows that green-colored background can be integrated into the gravid mosquito traps for efficiency increase.

The outline of a recent approach to quantum gravity is presented. Novel ingredients include: (1) Affine kinematical variables; (2) Affine coherent states; (3) Projection operator approach toward quantum constraints; (4) Continuous-time regularized functional integral representation without/with constraints; and (5) Hard core picture of nonrenormalizability. The "diagonal representation" for operator representations, introduced by Sudarshan into quantum optics, arises naturally within this program.
From the experiment, we can conclude that the mass of dissolved solid in part 1A is………….., while in part 1B the mass of total solid is ………………. And suspended solid is …………………….. . Based on our analysis, we had compared three particular mass which are dissolved solid, total solid and suspended solid to another three group to get the average suspended solid.

The present paper aims to describe the latest results obtained by the authors of the ongoing research, which aims to study wood roof and ceilings structures, built in Portugal, which could be considered as typically Iberian and not the ones introduced at the end of the sixteenth century, especially by the influence of the treatises written by Palladio and Serlio. In this research, it was found that the roofs made of rafters, with or without collar-beam, lying on wall-plates, known in Portugal as asnaria roofs, were the most common. It was found that this was the normal way of building roofs, at least from the beginning of the fifteenth century until the end of the eighteenth century. This conclusion arrived by the study of roof structures in situ and also by documental analysis. In this paper, we present the results and conclusions of this research, and their typologies. The aim is to demonstrate that rafter roofs were already used with the structure designed to be in sight, during the medieval period as it happened on almost all Europe, then they were used to support the laço of Islamic influence, and finally managed to be adapted to the classic aesthetic, with paneled ceilings. It is shown, therefore, that this construction system was the most commonly technique used by Portuguese carpenters and not an "exotic” import of the Manueline period (1495-1521). The continuity in this construction method, also allows to conclude that the name" mudéjares roofs” is not correct to designate the asnaria structures designed to be in sight, since such designation is not suitable for structures incorporating such a variety of artistic styles and constructed over such a long period of time.

Gamification, or gameful design, refers to the strategic application of game design principles, mechanics, and elements into non-game environments. It is often facilitated using digital platforms, aiming to solve problems, increase engagement, and motivate individuals towards their goals. The technique fosters a gameful and interactive experience, enhancing perceived autonomy, competence, and relatedness among users. With roots in fields like education, business, marketing, and services, gamification is a versatile tool that serves to enrich user experience and create value in a multitude of settings. The widespread impact of gamification across various sectors has transformed traditional methods of engagement, notably in education.
