The issues raised by the growth of Manchester During the industrial revolution, Manchester became a textile manufacture center in England, which prospered Manchester itself a lot. In consequence, Manchester grew from a small town with a population of 45,000 to a large city with a population of 300 thousands in just a hundred years. In addition, the area of Manchester had grown approximately 7 times bigger than before [document 1] and it became the Workshop of the World, which was pretty remarkable [document 5]. Lo primero será revisar un poco la Arquitectura de computadoras en sus formas más básicas. Pasaremos rápidamente por periféricos en los ordenadores primitivos. Seguidamente la caja mística Baer/Bushnell el PONG o Telebolito. Luego revisaremos un computador casero (homebrew), la famosa caja "Apple I". Como plato principal arbitrariamente organizaremos y repasaremos un poco esto del cómo funcionan los periféricos.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events mirrors the scholarly praxis of the common law, encoding a doctrine of virtue from diligent study. This doctrine promotes critical literacy as a means of achieving justice, linking with the textual adjudication of state power found in the archive and practice of the common law. The doctrine also requires at the same time that this literacy be inhabited by its readers. In its translation to a Netflix series, this doctrine is misinterpreted: the TV series does not inculcate the cinematic or televisual literacy required by its form, but presents an appearance of bookish study and scholarly endeavour in lieu of its actual undertaking. Within a broader context of the marketisation of higher education-including legal education-in which space for the undertaking of scholarly endeavour is increasingly compressed, the misinterpretation of such a valuable doctrine should not pass without concern.

Il presente contributo è dedicato alla inedita sepoltura di Giovanbattista Repucci (1606-1687), vescovo di Vico Equense (Na) sita nella chiesa di S. Maria dell'Annunciata, già cattedrale. Ripercorrendo la scarna biografia e le ancor più frammentarie fonti documentarie sulle vicende del prelato, il saggio approccia l'analisi della sua sepoltura, caratterizzata da un saliente busto marmoreo, soffermandosi in particolare sulla qualità, la funzione, e approssimando una possibile derivazione contestuale, in mancanza di fonti e documenti per un'attribuzione sostenibile. Il saggio vuole, anzitutto, portare a conoscenza del monumento che, a dispetto della sua portata qualitativa, ha sofferto, come la chiesa stessa, di un quarantennio di abbandono dovuto ai decennali lavori di restauro e ad un pressoché totale silenzio nella storiografia del passato.

The thesis tries to follow-up the attitude of the United States of America regarding the Polish question in Yalta conference the year 1945. The Polish question was the main problem in the diplomacy of the Second World War and in the Cold war , especially the regional disputes between Poland and the Soviet Union which had its clear effect on the diplomatic relations between the allies. For the importance of the U.S.A attitude and its effect on the process of the Polish question especially after the entrance of the U.S.A into the war which formed an important turn in the course of its foreign policy .Consequently ,we have thought it is necessary to shed light upon that attitude. The thesis includes an introduction and subject of conference held up and attitude of the United Stats of America from polish question and conclusion attachment. The introduction deal summary of polish question basic , then we deal subject heldup Yalta conference. The folders concerning by polish question through conference assess , trying at the same time up on the America situation from the demands of USSR. especially cases of borders forming the government of polish and it's reflectings on the situation of other countries. It has become evident that there had been a constant support and sympathy for Poland from the United States of America ,but it didn ' t oppose the growing Soviet influence on Poland and it didn't follow a strict policy to restrain it. It was content with repeating recurrent phrases about Poland "that it wants Poland to be a sovereign free independent state after the war ".

Nos últimos anos, temos trazido ao conhecimento da comunidade científica e público em geral, vários estudos sobre artistas pouco conhecidos ou mesmos desconhecidos, através de investigações respeitantes à História da Arte em Portugal. Muitos destes artistas fizeram o seu percurso de vida e artístico na região centro do nosso país, em particular na diocese de Coimbra.

Neste contexto, salientamos o escultor vimaranense Francisco Gonçalves Pombo que, fixando-se na cidade de Coimbra, executou diversas empreitadas artísticas na região centro de Portugal.

Com este estudo, iremos apresentar um conjunto de dados genealógicos relativos a este escultor, assim como alguns contratos de importância manifesta relativos à sua atividade.

A 15. század utolsó harmadára – Konstantinápoly 1453. évi elfoglalása, valamint Nándorfehérvár 1456-os ostromát követően – a török veszély vált Európa egyik legégetőbb problémájává. A hódító Oszmán Birodalom a Balkán-félszigeten ugyan nem volt új jelenség, mégis az évszázad végére Közép-Európában és a mediterrán térségben is egyértelművé vált, hogy a szultánoknak európai térnyerési céljaik vannak. Ezek közül leginkább a Velencei Köztársaság és a Jagelló államszövetség (II. Ulászló egyszerre volt királya Magyarországnak és a cseh korona államainak) volt veszélyben.A tanulmány célja bemutatni, hogyan viszonyult a korabeli Nyugat-Európa a törökellenes összefogás ügyéhez. A vizsgált időszakban, leginkább a 16. század elején volt politikai törekvés a törökellenes összefogásra. A pápa jóváhagyásával keresztes hadjáratok indultak; a keresztény uralkodóknak érdekükben állt, hogy ezekben szerepet vállaljanak.2 A dolgozatban bemutatom a korban kedvelt ligák kapcsolatát a törökellenes összefogás eszméjével. Ebből
kiderül a korabeli diplomácia és külpolitika szövevényes rendszerének működése.A dolgozat másik fontos célja bemutatni, hogy a Jagelló-kori uralkodók – II. Ulászló és II. Lajos – milyen mozgástérrel rendelkeztek a nemzetközi diplomáciában, továbbá mekkorajelentősége volt az általa irányított közép-európai államszövetségnek. A jelentős számú budai és prágai követindításból kiderül, hogy a király és tanácsadói nagy jelentőséget tulajdonítottak a nyugat-európai diplomáciának. Különösen igaz ez a francia és az angol királysággal, a Velencei Köztársasággal, valamint a Szent Székkel fenntartott kapcsolatokban.3 A diplomácia szövevényes rendszerének bemutatása során fény derül arra, hogy II. Ulászló halála idejére, hogyan alakul át a magyar külpolitika, és a felsorolt szövetségeseket hogyan váltja fel a Német-római császárság. A tanulmányban csak az 1521-en nádorfehérvári vereségig megyünk el, mivel a mohácsi vész körülményei egy részletesebb elemzést kívánnak.Végezetül fény derül a segítségnyújtás formájára, valamarra, hogy ez hogyan szolgálta a Magyar Királyság érdekeit. Ennek feltárása során az is világossá válik, hogy a segítségnyújtás mögött valójában minden államnak a saját érdeke rejlett. A bemutatott diplomáciai kapcsolatok révén ez jól kivehető. A segítségnyújtás mértékéből és formájából az is kiderül, hogy kinek mekkora érdeke fűződött a Jagelló államszövetséghez, vagy a török fenyegetéshez.

Dicho trabajo tiente por nombre: " El uso secundario de las ánforas romanas, en el marco geográfico de la Bahía de Cádiz".  Tanto en el mundo antiguo como en épocas sucesivas, la mar ha sido y será un medio fundamental para la comunicación del ser humano con otros lugares y culturas, debido a las rutas marítimas que nuestros antepasados han trazado a través de los tiempos. Dichas rutas han sido siempre de gran importancia y satisfacen la necesidad de incorporar el mar a su medio de vida. En época antigua, este tránsito marítimo radicaba en las necesidades comerciales de las distintas sociedades humanas, donde se representaban vías en la cual fluía una continua corriente de mercancía, por tanto significaba un medio de servicio a la economía. Estos comercios marítimos se realizaban a través de los diferentes puertos marítimos de la época, que sirvieron para abastecer a los pueblos alejados y a sus intereses económicos, donde se levaba a cabo el intercambio de sus productos elaborados y sus diferentes materias primas, como por ejemplo el vino o, en el caso gaditano el famoso garum transportados en centenares de ánforas.
