There are 16 state universities in Sri Lanka. The main goal of these universities is to develop and strengthen its role as a world-class University through teaching and learning, continuous improvement of academic research and support programs, and utilizes the best and suitable administrative practices that will lead to the regional and national development; where the majority of the university's examination departmental works has been doing with the help of MS-Excel, and MS-word only which leads a lot of time-consuming and increase the chances to error-prone. In this respect, this paper aims to provide a solution to avoid the existing manual method to a centralized online computerized information system that can migrate the majority of the works such as student registration, exam registration, results in upload and view, SMS notification from the department, staff-student live public chat forum, student acces s to download & print their examination related documents, and system's user interfaces customization via web browsers; this system provided with three different access level based on user permission. Further, the developed system can be accessed via any kind of computer or smartphone. This has developed using PHP, CSS, JavaScript, XML, MySQL, and Adobe Photoshop. Furthermore, this system has developed after the interview conducted with departmental lecturers and students for the requirement analysis.

In every activity that Information System Department had been done must had a final goal. In order to know, if there is goal already being achieved or not, then it should had been determined on how to measurement such activities. Balanced Scorecard could been used as an alternative on how to measure the goal achievement. So it could been used by policy maker to decide what the next move afterward.

The project is aimed at developing an application for the "CSE Department Management System" of the college. The system is an application that can be accessed and effectively used throughout the organization with proper login enabled. This system can be used as an application for the teachers in the college to manage the Department. The key feature of this project is that information on the application managed by teachers. Our project provides the facility of maintaining the details of the students. It reduces the manual work and consumes less paper work to reduce the time. This project is developed with ASP.NET , C# and MYSQL. I. INTRODUCTION CSE Department Management System is a formal sociotechnical, organizational system designed to collect, process, store, and distribute information. In an educational institution, there is a need to record information as pertains to members of the institutions, especially students, so ease is achieved when retrieval of said information is needed. CSE department management system or Department management system is a management information system for education establishments to manage student data easily and without stress. Department Systems provide capabilities for documenting grades and transcripts, computing results of student tests and other assessment scores; building student schedules; tracking student attendance; and managing many other student related data needs in a department.

Background: Electronic Health is an emerging field in the intersection of medical informatics, public health and business, referring to health services and information delivered or enhanced through the Internet and related technologies. Purpose: One of the major needs of the E-Health is how to provide alert feature in order to perform specific action based on this alert and using this alert to provide the required health care to the patient. Method: In this paper proposed an alert system for the E-Health purposes is presented which is based the using of patient breathing signal. This breathing signal passed through three main processing phases which are the reading and plotting phase, feature extraction phase using Gammatore Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (GFCC), and Classifying phase using Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM). Then the classification result will be used to give alert to the E-Health system. Results: E-Health field requires a lot of needs in order to work in correct way. One of these needs is the alert feature. In the proposed system the person breathing signal is used in order to provide this feature. The person breathing signal is processed in three phases which are: Reading and plotting phases using (MSR) and power, feature extraction phase using (GFCC), and classification phase uses (GMM). Then the classification result will be used to give alert to the doctors it is classified as sniff.

In Spring 2001, Site Profiler® will be fielded to all US military installations for antiterrorism risk management and planning. Managing the risks posed by terrorists is challenging because their intentions, methods, and capabilities cannot be estimated with certainty from available intelligence information. Site Profiler allows users to efficiently estimate and manage a large risk portfolio by using a Bayesian network to combine evidence from analytic models, simulations, historical data, and user judgments. The system was constructed using our generic application development environment that combines a dynamically generated object model, a Bayesian inference engine, a graphical editor for defining the object model, and persistent storage for a knowledge base of Bayesian network fragment objects. We developed an innovative human-computer interaction system tailored to mathematically unsophisticated users. Future extensions to Site Profiler will use data warehousing to allow analysis and validation of the network's ability to predict the most effective antiterrorism risk management solutions.

Disaster Tolerance is the characteristic attributed to a system that can withstand a catastrophic failure and still function with some degree of normality. Disaster tolerance of computer and communication systems is described and methods for modeling this form of system robustness are described. Definitions and descriptions of disaster tolerant computing and communications systems are provided and related to more familiar forms of system robustness such as fault tolerance. This paper concludes with a description of future areas of investigation for this new area of systems engineering.

With the introduction to the concept of digitalization in our country and being a student of technical studies and especially computer science, It becomes our responsibility to take part in this revolution and contribute as much as we can to digitalize or automate the necessary processes, which can ensure to its better functioning and enhance the performance of a certain system. Inspired by this idea we came up with Abhigyan, as our project which intends to automate and digitalize the process of training, monitoring and hiring, which is the most important process for any institution offering professional training/education. Abhigyan include every entity involved in the system and automates their function, resulting to increased efficiency & quality with an added layer of security. The main focus of Abhigyan is on automating the placement process of an institution, in doing that we have included all the subsequent supporting processes and entities linked to it.

In this paper we describe an approach for information system design that aims at constructing the social reality in which the system is used. Thus, rather than designing the information system in a given context, the design target is the context itself, including the information sys-tem. The expertise knowledge of users and information system designers are jointly utilized in co-constructing the context, which is structured as a particular form of workpractice called the activity domain. In the activity domain, coordinating elements of a practice are integrated into a coherent whole. The the¬ory behind the approach – the Activity Domain Theory – originated in the Ericsson telecommunication company where it has been gradually refined over more than a decade by the author.
