Αναλύονται οι ήδη υπάρχουσες τεχνικές αντιμετώπισης του προβλήματος στην πράξη και προτείνονται ορισμένες νέες στρατηγικές, οι οποίες θα ήταν δυνατό να εφαρμοστούν. Για την καλύτερη αντίληψη των εναλλακτικών μεθόδων ένταξης παρουσιάζεται ένα παράδειγμα εφαρμογής τους στην περιοχή της Νέας Ραιδεστού του νομού Θεσσαλονίκης 1. Το πρόβλημα Ένα από τα βασικά προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει ο ΑΤΜ στην καθημερινή επαγγελματική πρακτική είναι η ένταξη μιας κλασικής αποτύπωσης ή πολεοδομικής-κτηματογραφικής εφαρμογής από την προβολή της Hatt (" παλιό και νέο Bessel ") στην προβολή του ΕΓΣΑ'87 (TM87). Για παράδειγμα, η σύνταξη ενός τοπογραφικού διαγράμματος για χωρική μεταβολή στο Κτηματολόγιο σε κληροτεμάχιο διανομής της Τοπογραφικής Υπηρεσίας του Υπουργείου Γεωργίας (ΤΥΥΓ), ή η σύνταξη τοπογραφικού διαγράμματος για την έκδοση πράξης χαρακτηρισμού από Δασαρχείο όπου μεταξύ άλλων, οι κορυφές του ακινήτου απαιτείται να έχουν τιμές στο ΕΓΣΑ'87. Εξίσου σημαντικό είναι και το αντίστροφο πρόβλημα, της μετάβασης δηλαδή από το ΕΓΣΑ'87 στο σύστημα της Hatt. Ένα τέτοιο πρόβλημα μπορεί να προκύψει στην περίπτωση που ο μελετητής εργάζεται με κάποιο σύστημα μόνιμων σταθμών GNSS (HEPOS, δίκτυα ιδιωτικών εταιρειών, κα) και ως εκ τούτου οι μετρήσεις (μετά από επεξεργασία) αναφέρονται στο ΕΓΣΑ'87 και επιθυμεί να τις μετασχηματίσει στην Hatt. 2. Βασικά χαρακτηριστικά των διανομών της ΤΥΥΓ Η εφαρμογή των διανομών της ΤΥΥΓ από τους ΑΤΜ, παρουσιάζει πολλές ιδιαιτερότητες οι οποίες πρέπει να ληφθούν σοβαρά υπόψη, όταν απαιτείται η ένταξή τους, έστω τοπικά, στο ΕΓΣΑ'87. Individual Giving and Philanthropy in Turkey 2021 Report, which presents comprehensive and up-to-date data on individual giving and philanthropy. Co-authored by Prof. Dr. Ali Çarkoğlu and Assoc. Professor Selim Erdem Aytaç from Koç University Center for Civil Society and Philanthropy Research, the report presents data under sections Perceptions of Civil Society, Individual Giving and Giving Motivations in Turkey. Referencing the earlier research conducted by TÜSEV, the report also provides a comparative analysis of the change that took place in the field of individual giving in Turkey over a 15-year period. We hope that the report we published will contribute to the field of individual giving in Turkey.

This research explored the level of students’ basic and integrated Science Process Skills (SPS) based on their academic majors, gender, and grade levels at the end of a chemistry laboratory course. Convenience sampling was used to select 298 undergraduate students at the Yogyakarta State University, Indonesia. A survey method was used, and the data were collected using the Basic SPS (BSPS) and Integrated SPS (ISPS) Observation Checklist. The results showed that the students’ basic and integrated SPS were considered medium and low respectively. Furthermore, there was a significant gap in the students’ performance based on their majors, gender and grade levels. Surprisingly, it was found that the perception and social convention that males are stronger than females in science appears not to be the case among students. Speech recognition techniques are one of the most important modern technologies. Many different systems have been developed in terms of methods used in the extraction of features and methods of classification. Voice recognition includes two areas: speech recognition and speaker recognition, where the research is confined to the field of speech recognition.

Data collection for research projects often requires a team of data collectors or enumerators. Large-scale surveys at household or community levels, and qualitative research with large numbers of enumerators, require well trained and supported enumerators to achieve the best quality data.

This Oxfam Research Guideline outlines how to recruit, train and work with enumerators. Enumerators are typically asked to administer survey questionnaires or collect information using digital or paper collection modes that are designed to capture information around a research or evaluation question. It is essential that they are well managed and trained: this guide explains key elements of the process and gives links to useful resources.

Social work educators have found a variety of experiential and creative methods to be valuable aids in teaching culturally sensitive social work practice. By utilizing experiential/creative methods as tools of self-reflection, faculty can help students develop their "professional use of self" for practice with diverse populations. This paper presents a development in qualitative research, the research poem, which has powerful implications for teaching culturally sensitive social work. It explores how the research poem was has been used as a vehicle for teaching students culturally sensitive social work practice with Native Americans.

When measuring (complex) attitudes within a social survey, researchers often use balanced lists of positive and negative items. The purpose of the present research is to investigate: (a) whether a specific order of measurement scale items can lead to the bipolar (single-dimensional) concept (attitude) being recognised as a dual (bi-dimensional) concept and vice-versa; and (b) whether item order can affect the consistency (metric characteristics) of a measurement scale. An experiment on a group of social science students was conducted: students were randomly split into three subgroups and three different version of a questionnaire (with three differing item orders) were applied. A multi-group confirmatory factor analysis (‘CFA’) and a single group CFA for each item order separately were applied. The final conclusion of the experiment is that there is no general rule about how and when respondents form separate (dual) or unidimensional (continuous) representations of measured concepts. Item-order effects are possible, but they are not as important as one would expect. The results of the experiment also suggest that other factors should be taken into account: the content of the measured concept and the cognitive sophistication of the respondents.

How well does MAM predict individual differences in physiological indicators of appetitive and aversive activation? Communication Methods and Measures, 1(2), 113-136] applies in a non-American (i.e. Asian) context, in order to provide evidence for the universality asserted through its theoretical underpinnings as an indicator of biologically based motivation systems. It thus investigates cross-cultural variation in the MAM scores and the associations with established measures of theoretically related personality factors. Second, the paper examines how individual differences in motivational system responsiveness correlate with media use and interests in an Asian culture. Eight hundred sixty-five respondents completed MAM, personality measures and self-reported media preference in an online survey. Findings indicate that the MAM values recorded in the Asian sample associate with the measures of theoretically related human traits as expected, and had a similar pattern of scores with those found in American samples. Moreover, results suggest that audience interests in different types of media can be predicted through their variation in motivation systems activation.

que  en  este  artículo  se  presenta  la  validación  de  un  cuestionario  que  permite  identificar  aspectos  relacionados  con  las características del producto, mercado y organización durante el lanzamiento de un producto. El cuestionario  se aplicó a empresas localizadas en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México, focalizándose principalmente en departamentos de producto, diseño y nuevos productos.  Inicialmente se tenían 15 ítems, quedando al final solo 14.

Control charting is commonly used throughout the industrial world to monitor processes in an efficient and timely fashion. The real attraction is the ability to monitor variables that directly impact the quality of a product live. With the advancement of CATI center technologies and CAPI surveying devices, there is an opportunity to take advantage of real time data to improve quality through control charting in survey research. This article highlights some of the basic ideas behind control charting through an example that monitors interview length as a key quality characteristic because of its direct relationship with response rates and cost.

I saw some things by a couple of people that made me realize my language was sloppy here. But I also read where this may be fairly common. At any rate, this is a fixed value to be estimated. The classical ratio estimator (CRE) is very simple, has a long history, and has a stunningly broad range of application, especially with regard to econometrics, and to survey statistics, particularly establishment survey statistics. The CRE has a number of desirable properties, one of which is that the sum of its estimated residuals is always zero. It is easily extended to multiple regression, and a property shown in Sarndal, Swensson and Wretman (1992) may be used to indicate the desirability of this zero sum of estimated residuals feature when constructing regression weights for multiple regression. In the single regressor form, the zero sum of estimated residuals property is related to an interesting phenomenon expressed in Fox (1997). Finally, relationships of the CRE to some other statistics are also considered.

If we do not know the sum of those remaining N-n x-values (where n is sample size selected minus cases to be imputed), but we know a range for that subtotal of x's, then we know a range of estimated variances for the estimated y-totals to go with that range. --

Online surveys have become a popular method for data gathering for many reasons, including low costs and the ability to collect data rapidly. However, online data collection is often conducted without adequate attention to implementation details. One example is the frequent use of the forced answering option, which forces the respondent to answer each question in order to proceed through the questionnaire. The avoidance of missing data is often the idea behind the use of the forced answering option. However, we suggest that the costs of a reactance effect in terms of quality reduction and unit nonresponse may be high because respondents typically have plausible reasons for not answering questions. The objective of the study reported in this paper was to test the influence of forced answering on dropout rates and data quality. The results show that requiring participants answer every question increases dropout rates and decreases quality of answers. Our findings suggest that the desire for a complete data set has to be balanced against the consequences of reduced data quality.

Was haben Wissenschaft und Architektur miteinander zu tun? Wie können Architekten forschen? Wie arbeitet man mit Quellen, wie zitiert man? Wie schreibt man eine wissenschaftliche Arbeit? Das Fach „Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten“ dient dazu, diese Fragen zu beantworten und spiegelt dabei die Realität einer zunehmend interdisziplinär verknüpften Praxis wider.
Schriftliche Arbeiten spielen dabei eine zentrale Rolle. Es werden daher die folgenden Aspekte seminaristisch behandelt: die möglichen Ansätze und Beobachtungsgegenstände einer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit; wie man Literatur auswählt; wie man mit Quellen umgeht; wie man aus diesen Quellen zitiert und paraphrasiert; welche Forschungsmethoden zur Auswahl stehen; und wie man wissenschaftliche Arbeiten schreibt.

Golden Arrow Bus Services (Pty) Ltd. (GABS) is the largest private bus company in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It operates subsidised, scheduled transport services to commuters in Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality under a contract with the Western Cape Department of Transport. To independently assess service quality, the company has commissioned the Cape Peninsula University of Technology to undertake biennial customer satisfaction surveys. The survey’s 2018 iteration was conducted during the week of 10 to 14 September 2018 with a sample of n=2677 quasi-randomly selected customers interviewed during morning and afternoon peak hours at six bus termini. The main section of the questionnaire measured satisfaction using a perceived service quality (PSQ) scale consisting of 20 individual service quality items. Overall satisfaction was measured by aggregating individual item scores into a PSQ index and was also separately measured directly using a ten-point scale. A gap scoring technique was used to measure the relative importance of the service quality items, enabling an importance-performance analysis (IPA) to be conducted (cf. Martilla, 1977). Data was also collected on demographic characteristics and service usage. Self-reported customer satisfaction was reasonably high (a mean of 7.2 on a scale from 1 to 10). Items for which mean customer satisfaction was the highest were “Ease of getting on and off the bus,” “Driving ability of drivers,” and “Reliability of buses not to break down.” Items for which mean customer satisfaction was lowest were “Condition of bus stops and shelters,” “Level of safety from crime,” and “Level of crowding on buses.” The PSQ scale was found to be internally consistent in terms of Cronbach’s Alpha, and the PSQ index was found to correlate strongly with service usage indicators. The PSQ scale is suitable as a tool for measuring customer satisfaction with bus services in a South African context.

The internet has developed into the number one port for communication and information. With the millions of websites available, search engines play a vital role in filtering information online. Over time, both search engines and technical equipment have been changing: web-enabled devices have been getting smaller, new search engines were launched, new search features added, and the presentation of the search results has undergone modifications. Users have been changing their search habits, too, they have been getting more experienced in searching the web. Analytical search engine studies, e.g. logfile analyses, are numerous. User-focused studies of search engine behavior and user satisfaction, on the other hand, are still rare. However, certain scenarios, such as exploratory searches, and the users' subjective satisfaction may not be captured in those analyses. Nonetheless, the users' subjective opinions and skills eventually decide upon the achieved search performance and the success of a search engine. The last user-focused search engine studies in Germany are from more than a decade ago. This study investigates user search engine behavior and satisfaction from the perspective of internet users in Germany. An survey was conducted to learn about search engine usage frequency, preferred search engines, and priorities for search engine selection, and to assess specific search habits, such as preferred search query language, customization of the search engine language settings, and the necessity for repetitive searches and query rephrasing as perceived by the users. The survey also evaluated the users' satisfaction with the search results in general, the search results on the first page, as well as the results retrieved with German versus English search queries. Where possible, the paper compares the findings with the user-focused studies from 2003 and 2005.

Recommender systems have grown to be a critical research subject after the emergence of the first paper on collaborative filtering in the Nineties. Despite the fact that educational studies on recommender systems, has extended extensively over the last 10 years, there are deficiencies in the complete literature evaluation and classification of that research. Because of this, we reviewed articles on recommender structures, and then classified those based on sentiment analysis. The articles are categorized into three techniques of recommender system, i.e.; collaborative filtering (CF), content based and context based. We have tried to find out the research papers related to sentimental analysis based recommender system. To classify research done by authors in this field, we have shown different approaches of recommender system based on sentimental analysis with the help of tables. Our studies give statistics, approximately trends in recommender structures research, and gives practitioners and researchers with perception and destiny route on the recommender system using sentimental analysis. We hope that this paper enables all and sundry who is interested in recommender systems research with insight for destiny.

Toplumsal etkileşimin olduğu her yerde, anlaşmazlıkların olması doğal ve kaçınılmazdır. Kişiler, gruplar ve toplumlar arası anlaşmazlıklar; doğru bir biçimde yönetildiğinde gelişimin, ilerlemenin, dönüşümün, barışın ve bütünleşmenin hem enerji kaynağı hem de motoru olabilmektir. Ancak, anlaşmazlıklar yanlış ve yıkıcı yaklaşımlarla yönetildiğinde ise; yıkımın, şiddetin, zulmün ve acının kaynağına dönüşmektedir.

Anlaşmazlıkları ortadan kaldırma, farklılığı ortadan kaldırmaktadır. Doğa ve insanlık, farklılığı ve çoklığı kabul etmeyi ve anlamayı gerektirir. Farklılığı ortadan  kaldırmaya çalışmak yerine; onu anlamaya ve nasıl yöneteceğimizi keşfetmeye başladığımızda, yolumuz anlaşmazlıklarımızı nasıl yöneteceğimizden geçmektedir. Anlaşmazlıkları nasıl yöneteceğimiz üzerine odaklandığımızda, karşımıza en temel yaklaşım ve paradigma olan "dönüşümsel arabuluculuk" çıkmaktadır.Dönüşümsel arabuluculuğun alanyazına en önemli katkısı, anlaşmazlık çözüm sürecinin toplumsal değerlerden ve kültürden bağımsız olmadığı,ideolojimizin ve inanç tarzımızın anlaşmazlıklara ilişkin değerlendirmelerimizi, tutumlarımızı ve anlaşmazlıklarımızı ele alış tarzımızı etkilediği düşüncesidir. Yine, dönüşümsel arabuluculuğun en ayırt edici özelliği, anlaşmazlıkları yönetim sürecinin, kişileri dönüştürebileceğine, geliştirebileceğine ve güçlendirebileceğine yönelik yapıcı ve olumlu duruşudur.

Bush ve P. Folger tarafından geliştirilen "dönüşümsel arabuluculuk modeli" ülkemizde, her sene mahkemelere taşınan yüz binlerce anlaşmazlığı, çekişmeyi ve ayrışmayı yüz yüze müzakere ederek yapıcı ve barışçıl olarak çözme kapasitesini güçlendirmek için bir fırsat ve araç olacaktır. Cezalandırıcı adalet anlayışından, onarıcı adalet anlayışına dönme çabalarına ışık tutacaktır.

Bu eser,içerdiği alternatif paradigma çerçevesinde hukuk sistemimize yeni giren arabuluculuk modelinin doğru ve amacına uygun kullanılması için de referans olacak anlamlı ve önemli bir eserdir. Buna ek olarak, anlaşmazlık çözümü üzerine çalışan hukukçulara, psikologlara, psikolojik danışmanlara, eğitimcilere, psikiyatristlere ve sosyal çalışmacılara hem kurumsal anlamda hem de somut anlaşmazlıkların ve çatışmaların yapıcı ve barışcıl yönetimi konusunda yol gösterecek temel bir başvuru kaynağı olacaktır.

Tüm yaşamımız duygu ve düşüncelerimiz tarafından yönetilmektedir. Çoğumuz ağırlıkla gerçeğin farkına varmadan yaşadığımızdan düşünce becerilerimizi geliştirmeyi önemsemeyiz. Ancak düşünme, eğitim, psikoloji ve daha birçok alandaki bilim insanının üzerinde çalıştığı ve geliştirmeyi hedefledikleri beceriler arasındandır. Düşünme türleri içinde eleştirel düşünme en temel ve önemlileri arasındadır. Pek çok kişi için düşünme bilinç dışı bir eylem iken bilinç alanına çekip özel eğitim teknikleri ile geliştirmek mümkündür. Se realizó análisis de consistencia interna aplicando los índices Alfa de Cronbach y Keiser Meyer Olkin. Los datos  provienen  del  cuestionario  SOFI-S  para  valoración  de  fatiga,  aplicado  a  operadores  de  tornos  CNC  en  tres empresas de manufactura automotriz en México central. Se analizaron las dimensiones de fatiga falta de energía, esfuerzofísico,  disconfort  físico,  falta  de  motivación  y  somnolencia.  El esfuerzo  físico obtuvo  el  índice  más  bajo  de  consistencia
interna (0.565); las cuatro dimensiones restantes obtuvieron valores superiores a 0.633. Los datos mostraron índices de
consistencia  interna  considerados  como  aceptables,  lo  que  permite  realizar  un  análisis  factorial  exploratorio  y
confirmatorio, y también pueden ser utilizados para preparar modelos estructurales.

In this dissertation, three lines of investigation were followed: (1) a review of the Biblical view of rural society and church health; (2) a review of works on church health and particularly reports from three mission fields: Korea, Taiwan and Thailand; (3) a quantitative study of rural churches in five counties in north Alabama compared with one county in Taiwan. Associations of multiple variables across two different cultural settings were investigate with chi-square tests. In addition to the nine key elements listed, one important finding was verification of a quantitative method that could be used to accurately describe whether churches are healthy or not.
