Summary
Brothers Johnny and Tom stand in the snow, looking into a pen of dogs. Most of the dogs howl, but one with striking eyes stares at them. The dog’s eyes are an indescribable colour, close to blue or turquoise.
The boys back away from the dog and bump into a huge man who asks why they are there.
