The
Logwood Gang were a group of dockers who fought back with wooden batons and encouraged others to walk around in large gangs.
All fool-hold traps were boiled in a solution of
logwood trap dye and then boiled in trap wax (FitT Fur Hanesters Co., Alpena, Ml), and cloth gloves and a rubber kneeling pad were used when handling and setting the traps to reduce human scent.
