Abstract：
Le'an County is located in the central part of Jiangxi province and the southwest part of Fuzhou city. It is surrounded by mountains and has a terrain that is high in the south and low in the north. It belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone with warm climate, sufficient sunlight, abundant rainfall and a long frost-free period. Le'an bamboo shoots entered the list of the National Geographical Indication Products in 2011, and were selected into the directory of China Agricultural Brand in 2019, and the first protection list of the China-EU agreement on geographical indications in 2020. The GIES (Geographical Indications Environment & Sustainability) case dataset on Le'an bamboo shoots in subtropical mountains consists of the following data: (1) boundary data of the study area; (2) physical geography and ecological environment data; (3) bamboo shoots’ quality characteristic data, and (4) socio-economic and management data. The dataset is archived in .shp、.xlsx、.tif、.pdf and .jpg formats, and consists of 56 data files with data size of 210 MB (Compressed into one file with 67.6 MB).
