Minutes from the August meeting were read. Scott Hansen made a motion to
approve minutes as read. Kevin Brus seconded. The motion carried
Hayrack Silent Auction-Jeffs Ag purchased the hayrack for $1850. Jeff resold the
hayrack to Bret Halbur in which we received an additional $200. The Manning News
Journal did an article on the hayrack.
Next years hayrack has already been started. A heavy duty running gear was
donated for the project. The FFA has inquired about what color we would like the
hayrack to be. Last years hayrack was blue and gold but many people thought it
looked Hawkeye colored with the blue being very dark. We discussed going red,
white, and blue or going with cancer ribbons. If we go cancer ribbons we would have
several of the different ribbons that represent cancer. Since they are just starting we
decided to just wait on picking a color.
Christmas Wreaths-We sold 55 wreaths with a profit of $388. Thank you to Cindy
Renze for leading this project. The wreaths were purchased from Cindy Renzes
brother.
Festival of Trees-Cindy Renze decorated a tree for the Manning Festival of Trees.

Spaghetti Supper-The supper will be held during the Treynor game (January 13 th)
serving from 4:30-7:00. Mr. Wall has been contacted regarding the date but we need
to talk to him about using the home economics room like we did last year. Last year
we served approximately 200. We served spaghetti, Alfredo or red sauce, lettuce
salad, and bars. FFA members donated bars. Meat and lettuce was donated. Salad
dressing was purchased. Most of the other items needed last year were purchased
from C3. We ran out of Alfredo sauce, had about a dozen slices of bread left, 2 boxes
of uncooked spaghetti, and 1 bag of cooked spaghetti with a little red sauce.
Noodles were cooked 1-2 days before the supper. We decided to get as much
donated as we can so prices can stay at $5 for adults, $3 for kids, and under 4 free.
Carryout and delivery will be available this year.
Corn hole (bags game)-Krista brought up making a corn hole game set painted in
Wolves colors and raffling it off at the spaghetti supper. After discussion, it was
decided that this would be better at a different time so we dont take away from
