ACTIVITY 1 Warm up
Aim: To raise Sss awareness of the foreign words in the English language
Procedure:
1 Informal conversation, greetings
2 Check if there are students which are absent
3 Teacher presents some pictures with Liverpool. She will ask each
student to describe these photos.

ACTIVITY 2 Writing + Speaking


Aim: To practice pronunciation
To develop Ss listening competences
To practice writing and speaking
Procedure:
1 Teacher writes the title of the new lesson on the blackboard and
children into their notebooks.
2 Teacher asks them to open their textbooks at page 13 . They should
look at the pictures and try to describe them.(10 minutes).
3 Teacher will read the text from page 13 . The students will read too
the text and then they will try to understand the main idea (10

Then they have to translate the text. At this exercise they should
think at the missing structures and to try to put them in order. ( 5
min)
The teacher will ask students to think of the unknown words and to
try to discover their meaning. (5 min).
They are asked to write them into their notebooks..

ACTIVITY 3 Writing + Speaking + Reading


Aim: To describe people from images that are given
To practice writing
To spell some words
To translate some given sentences into English
Procedure:
1 Teacher tells students to make a short conversation in which they
should use the unknown words that they have learned.
2 Then they are given some sentences in Romanian and they are to
translate them into English. They are to work in pairs. (10 min).
3 After fthat, the students are named to say what they have written,
they are to say the English translation of the given sentences. They
have to read the sentences from their notebooks. (5 minutes)

Final activity (homework):. The students have to imagine that they are on a bus and they
communicate with a person that they like . They should use some words from the text.
