1. Inability to recognize the presence of malnutrition in the family 2. inability to provide adequate nursing care due to: a. Lack of knowledge about the health condition of the family members b. Inability to recognize the problem c. Ignorance of facts that some of the family members are malnourished
After the nursing intervention, the family will have to: the knowledge about malnutrition and be aware of the health of their family members.
After nursing interventions, the family will be able to: 1. Can explain the signs and symptoms of malnutrition 2. Have the knowledge on how the malnutrition occur in one person 3. Can prepare healthy foods that cost less yet still nutritious 4. Improve the weight of the malnourished child with the help of the health teachings being taught to eat various kinds of food
Assess the degree of awareness of the school with regards to existing health problems Emphasize the importance of proper nutrition Teach the family on proper food preparation Enumerate the advantages and disadvantages of malnutrition Identify cheaper nutritious and healthy foods Demonstrate the proper way of preparing nutritious food
