The expanding Motorsport business has a requirement to recruit a Race Tyre
Compounder. If you are competitive, enthusiastic, like international travel and
motorsport, this could be your ideal job.
Responsibilities will cover design, development and application of tread compounds and will include
research, acquisition and processing of new products and materials for use in the compounding and
construction of Racing Tyres. You will also be required to work trackside, testing and supporting the
application of our products.
Considerable time spent trackside will dictate that a exible approach is required.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject. Tyre compounding
experience, allied with materials processing knowledge and previous motorsport experience are all
viewed as advantageous.
You must be able to work independently and as part of an established multi-skilled team.
Position will be based at Cooper Tires European Headquarters in Melksham, Wiltshire but will
involve regular travel.

POSITION: Senior Stress Engineer
REPORTS TO: Head of Stress Analysis
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to analyse any major component or assembly on an F1 car with condence using a wealth of experience and modern methods and then deliver clear,

Close liaison is required with other personnel at all levels in Design, Production, Reliability and Inspection.

Responsible for one of our 2011 world championship Formula One cars attending all events. Working directly with the Chief Mechanic and Race Engineer in collating daily workloads and then
managing direct car crew to achieve the set goals.

We have an opportunity for a Test Engineer to join the Gearbox Test Group within our R&D team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Operation and maintenance of a range of Transmission Test dynos.
- Sourcing and Calibrating instrumentation.
- Conguration of rig control software and data loggers.
- Execution of a varied range of Transmission Test programmes.
- Providing detailed analysis of test results through to production of concise reports.
The role involves a combination of hands on and theoretical tasks, ideally suited to a highly motivated
team player with a willingness to work exible hours. Candidates should be suitably qualied in a
Mechanical Engineering discipline and have the practical experience necessary to perform tests using
current physical testing technology. Excellent IT and communication skills plus the ability to work within
tight timescales are essential. Experience with a current data acquisition system such as MES Atlas and
System Monitor would be benecial. The role will be factory based but occasional travel may be required.

We currently have an opportunity for an Electronic Support Engineer, to join our Support Team. You will
be responsible for all aspects of Electrical and Electronic support of our on and off car installations, at a
variety of events, including race and test events as necessary. For this, you will be experienced in all types
of Electrical and Electronic installations, for both car and pit based equipment.
The successful candidate will be degree qualied, in an Electronics discipline, combined with experience of
current F1 Electronics and Control Systems including data analysis and electronics conguration software.
Qualications in 17th Edition Wiring Regulations would be benecial.
Good communication skills and the ability to work within tight timescales are essential. You should be able
to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and be able to work within a high-pressure and fast paced
environment. Candidates will also be required to travel when necessary.
