Climate change refers to changes in weather patterns over long periods of time. It affects temperature, precipitation, wind, and seasons. These climate patterns shape ecosystems and human societies that depend on them. While some short-term climate fluctuations are normal, long-term data now indicate a changing climate. The document discusses how human activities like burning fossil fuels, cutting down forests, and pollution are disrupting the environment and contributing to climate change. The author reacted that as a student, they were taught about proper waste management and environmental protection but didn't fully understand the impacts. Human overpopulation and industrialization have damaged the natural environment. To slow climate change, people need to reduce resource use through conservation, recycling, and more sustainable living

What is climate change? Climate includes patterns of temperature,
precipitation, humidity, wind and seasons. "Climate change" affects more than just a change in the weather, it refers to seasonal changes over a long period of time. These climate patterns play a fundamental role in shaping natural ecosystems, and the human economies and cultures that depend on them. Because so many systems are tied to climate, a change in climate can affect many related aspects of where and how people, plants and animals live, such as food production, availability and use of water, and health risks. Some short term climate is normal, but longer terms now indicate a changing climate. A year of an extreme change in temperature or other condition doesnt mean a climate change trend has been "erased. Worldwide, people are paying serious attention to climate change. Climate change is already disrupting our environment, economy and communities. We can help slow it down, but we must take action as soon as possible.
My Reaction to Climate Change
When I was young , I always heard about how to manage proper segregation of waste materials, plant more trees, burning garbage and etc. We keep on hearing same teachings and reminders inside and outside the school but we never learn how to do it properly. I dont know if we are just too lazy or we just dont give a care about it. After many years, we didnt notice that our environment suffers from our wrong activities. Its shown by the past study, through the record of rocks and fossils. Several theories have been advanced to explain climatic change. There are many factors that affects climate, for me, man has the ability to influence climate change. I observed that, the climates of cities differ from the climates of surrounding areas. Through the years, human have made many changes in the environment. They have cut down trees and planted crops in their place. The fast growing population has something to do with the environment. The more people go in a certain area, the more houses and buildings are needed and they destroy the environment for their house to be built. Factories fill the air with smoke and dangerous chemicals, pollute the lakes with waste and toxic by their products, damage parts of the surrounding land. Human inventions brought progress, but destroyed the natural environment. These environmental problems have endangered not only humans, but also most of other living creatures. To emphasize some of these nvironmental abuse and serious forms of pollution, there is the climate change. Climate change, the term is used to refer specifically caused by human activities. People do not always have control over their environment, some changes are brought by our activities. A basic strategy will help to slow down climate change. By reducing the use of resources and energy through decreased demand and increased efficiency. One of the most effective ways conserving resources is by recycling. They are leading towards a simpler, more reliable , and more efficient way of living. It is a way of life all of us can do and must cooperate. Always put in our mind that Nasa Sa Atin ang Kaligtasan ni Inang Kalikasan. We should help each other, we do our part an not just to rely all the responsibilities to our governments organization for environment who are seeking ways in which human
can live and healthy life without damaging the environment for future generations. I hope that we are learning from the calamities that we are experiencing right now.
