    Job Description
    Thorough understanding on reading, correcting and monitoring from
    drawings stage to launching stage until hand over of boat
    Thorough understanding and implementing on ship construction
    procedure according to IACS (ABS) classification
    Responsible for supervising ship construction from drawings to
    launching
    Responsible for monitoring and supervising the quality of welding and
    stability of boat
    Responsible to manage and meet the dateline of shipbuilding
    Reporting to Owner on daily, weekly, and monthly on activities of
    shipbuilding.
    Liason between Shipyard to Ship Owner
    Coordinates with HSE department and shipyard on safety issues
    Handling simple purchasing and logistic during ship construction
    Making sure ship construction is within budget
    Able to manage/supervise project ship construction
    Qualifications
    Male and has a min. Degree in Marine engineering or Naval Architect
    (ITS graduate),
    has minimum 5 years of progressively responsible as Owners Marine
    Surveyor in shipbuilding, especially crew boat construction with
    marine aluminium alloy and waterjet propulsion
    Familiar with ISM Code, SOLAS, and IACS (ABS) procedure of
    shipbuilding
    Knowledge on welding, NDT, painting blast, stability of boat, etc
    Proficiency in English both oral & written and computer literacy
    Have basic knowledge of Shipbuilding Safety.
    Have SIM A and SIM C
    Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team based
    environment within a heavily matrix organization
    Strong organizational and project management skills
    Strong communication skills: oral, written, presentation, and
    influencing, plus the ability to communicate with a wide range of
    people
    Solid strategic, analytical, and decision making skills
    A self-starter, confident in his abilities, self-motivated and able to
    work effectively with limited supervision
    A results-oriented individual who can make a difference; an individual
    who takes initiative, makes things happen, accepts accountability and
    has a "can do" attitude; has a sense of urgency
