is a term used by teachers to describe the process of ensuring that classroom lessons run smoothly despite
disruptive behavior by students.

Guiding Principles in Classroom Management


1. Consistent, proactive discipline is the crux of effective classroom management.
- a proactive approach to discipline prevents unnecessary disciplinary problems from cropping up.
2. Establish routines for all daily tasks and needs.
