CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

is a term used by teachers to describe the process of ensuring that classroom lessons run smoothly despite
disruptive behavior by students.
Remain involved with the students during the entire class period allowing for no idle time
Use Fillers
Use planning or pacing materials
Use common place to keep materials
Follow a consistent schedule
Handle administrative task quickly and efficiently
Prepare materials in advance
Make clear and smooth transitions
Limit disruptions and interruptions
Schedule all activities with corresponding time allotment way ahead of time
Provide enough time for everything you expect to happen
Anticipate difficulties or failure of some operations in order to be able to pursue alternative actions
Be flexible with time assignments
Set examples by showing that you are time conscious

important role in achieving learning objectives
the physical features in the classroom must be located in areas where the contents could be viewed and be
made available for use.
Seating Arrangement

semi-arrangement of chairs are arranged in four rows with six to eight rows. Sufficient space is allotted in the
aisles and in-between the seats for easy movement.
Physical environment must be a safe place where curious, overactive and energetic children are always on the
go.
