    Scoil Chrost R Mobile Phone Use


    Policy
    Introduction
    This policy was drafted by staff and Board of Management in response to mobile phone usage among
    pupils.

    Policy Content
    Pupils are not allowed to have mobile phones in their possession in school or during school organised
    events i.e. school tours. The children therefore should not bring mobile phones to school. Pupils found
    to be in breach of this rule will have the phone confiscated. The phone will be returned to the childs
    parent/guardian on request.
    Children may use the school phone to contact parents where necessary and consequently children are
    not permitted to bring mobile phones to school.

    Review
    This policy will be subject to periodic reviews as necessary.

    Communication
    A copy of this policy has been given to each teacher and is available for parents to view in the school.
