Place the correct colored shape on the color on the caterpillar
Materials Needed:
Colored poster paper
Shapes already cut out
Motivation/Introduction:
Sort out colors if wanted, the colors would have numbers on
them.
Place the correct colored shape on the correct color shape.
Procedures:

Modeling/Guided Practice: (show, follow me)?


Show them a brief example of what to do by sorting some of the
colors out.
Checking for Understanding (specific questions you will ask)?
Does the color match the color of the shape?
Independent Work
The work can either be independent or could be worked on
together with a friend or classmate.
Closure/Transition:
At the end when the kids are done, tell them to put the shapes
back into bag. Put the caterpillar back with bag on a shelf.
