The present perfect verb tense is the past participle tense
used with the present tense of an auxiliary verb to have. Example 1:
He has walked to school when it rained.
Past tense: I called my mother.
The action walk happened in the past.
Present prefect tense: I have called my mother today.
Example 2:
The present perfect tense is used for showing an action She has walked four miles already.
that was nished in the past or that is still going on.
The action walk is still going on.
Usually the action has taken place in the recent past.
