Tribute to the Great Masters of Landscapes
We are delighted to share that our efforts paid off, evident not only with the continuous
development of our residential projects but with honours accorded to Tagaytay
Highlands by prestigious international and local award giving bodies.
Tagaytay Highlands was recently named as the Best Leisure Development in the
Philippines at the 2017 Asia Pacific Property Awards (APPA). Organized by the
International Property Awards, APPA evaluated the property with strong focus on
design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability
Tagaytay Highlands was a sure stand out amongst competition with the judging panel
chaired by members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament.
The Woodridge Place was also named the Best Resort Residential Development in the
2017 Philippine Property Awards (PPA). The PPA recognizes the best in real estate
and property development in the Philippines and Southeast Asia a feat befitting of
a community that provides nothing short of the best in mountain-top condominium
living.
To top all these The Club opened new facilities for your full enjoyment. The Aerial
WILLY N. OCIER Walk has broken ground before the holy week, providing an alternative active recreation.
FOUNDER More enhancements are in the works, sure to provide all our members quality leisure
living.
Like what we always say, theres nowhere to go but up and were always happy to reap the
fruits of our labor, witness the realization of our vision, and share this with all of you who
share the same desire and appreciation.
Your comments and suggestions are important tools for the improvement of our services and facilities. Please email us
at membership@tagaytayhighlands.com. Highlands View is published by the Tagaytay Highlands Clubs. The newsletter
is aimed at providing information and updates to our Club members and homeowners.
Come summertime, Tagaytay Highlands is the best option to escape the heat in
Manila. When temperature rises in the metro, it is time to pack your bags and take
that trip out of town. Most people will crowd the beach, thats for sure. But here in
Tagaytay Highlands, we have a holistic approach to your family vacation. Nourish the
body and the soul.
As we mark the end of Lent with a joyous Easter celebration, more and more families
would come home for their annual southern retreat. We thank our members who
spent their Holy Week at the Holy Family Chapel in our annual recollection with
Fr. Robert Manansala, OFM. In Tagaytay Highlands, appreciate and find more
meaning in your family time, in being together, and in commune with God.
Every season, it is also our duty to provide you with the best vacation experience. We
have opened several new facilities for the young and active at The Sports Center. The
pools are clean and cool. The golf course is at its best and prepared for the holidays.
Get ready for a fantastic view in your early morning jog or leisure afternoon walks.
I hope you will enjoy whats in store for you. Take time to explore the estate, taste the
wonderful dishes and create wonderful memories with your family. Your happiness
is our happiness. With sunny skies and cool mountain breeze, come to the warmth of
your home as we open the gates this summer.
JERRY C. TIU
CLUB PRESIDENT
As mentioned before, 2017 promises opening of new facilities and we have started
with our committed word. The Aerial View officially opened on April 13, during
Holy Week. Its flexible design caters to adventurous groups with all the heights and
tests of the courses. Perfect for adventurous families and even for active children.
There is no need to fret so much as no one takes on the courses without safety
measures such as helmets and harnesses. Include our Aerial Walk in your checklist
this summer and have a selfie!
In this issue, you also get a glimpse of the best parts of our grandest golf
tournament, Belle 2017, plus our Club and Chapel events that have sprung during
the first quarter of the year. Proper observation of the Holy Week were conducted
in the Holy Family Chapel that served as a sanctuary for prayer and confession and
merriment for the Saviors resurrection on Easter. Maintain your summer body with
High Intensity Interval Training and Aerobic Dances offered at the Sports Center
while indulging in the variety of food choices in our food outlets.
