    Part 1: After checking the Unit 1 Topic 2: Modal Verbs, write 1 sentences

    using each one of the following modal verbs regarding your daily life: can –
    could – may - must - should - ought to – have to – need to- had better -
    would.
    Example:
    I must go to the doctor because I have a toothache.
    CAN

    I can work tonight.

    Yo puedo trabajar esta noche

    COULD

    I could rest more.

    May I arrive to home late

    I must devote more time to the homeworks of the university.

    Part 2: According to the topic Past Progressive (Unit 1: Topic 3), each
    student must write 10 things you were doing yesterday:
    Example: I was watching a Netflix series yesterday

    Yesterday evening we were watching a movie.


    Ayer por la tarde estábamos viendo una película.

    I was sleeping all night.

    Estaba durmiendo toda la noche.

    Were you sleeping all night?


    ¿Estabas durmiendo toda la noche?

    I wasn't resting, I was working!

    Last night my sister was washing the dishes.

    Last week we were painting the house.

    This morning my sister was taking care my baby.

    Part 3: Write a text about the activities you were doing last Sunday; you
    can use time. Use at least two pictures related to your day. You should
    write three paragraphs:
    Example: I was taking my breakfast at home at 7:00 a.m.
    ➢ Paragraph 1: In the morning
    ➢ Paragraph 2: In the afternoon
    ➢ Paragraph 3: At night

    Each paragraph must have minimum four (4) sentences and maximum six
    (6) sentences. It must have a title, from 220 words to 250 and it is
    necessary to use and highlight the following topics:

    I took a taxi and went home

    Nos encontramos con algunas chicas de la universidad, una de ellas me gusta. Así que le invitamos
    a bailar.
    A ella le gusta bailar bachata, así que bailamos bachata toda la noche.

    Parte 4: Los estudiantes deben comentar sobre las contribuciones de los socios y hacer
    correcciones si es necesario.
    Recuerde: Todas las participaciones deben estar escritas directamente en el foro. ¡No adjuntes
    ningún archivo porque no se tendrán en cuenta!

    Part 4 : Students must comment about the partners’contributions and


    make corrections if necessary.
