Greetings!

The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) aims to promote sensitivity and
awareness in the school community on the state of the Philippine environment and ecology, including
prevailing issues and concerns relative thereto. The YES-O is also mandated to conduct environmental
activities that will consolidate environmental efforts and actions.

In connection with this, the YES-O is inviting you to attend the “YES-O ENVIRONMENTAL
SYMPOSIUM AND WORKSHOP” on January 25, 2019 from 12:30 P.M to 5:30 P.M at the Bulan NHS Hall.
This activity has the following objectives:
 Develop pupils and students’ deeper awareness on the state of environment focusing on significant
issues and concerns and hone their skills on disaster mitigation and preparation
 Encourage pupils and students’ active participation and determine concrete action in the protection,
preservation and rehabilitation of the environment.
 Instill environmental values in every pupil and student and become motivated in their environment
in worthwhile programs, projects and activities for the environment.

Please be reminded that there will be a registration fee of Php 15.00 per participant. We suggest
that each organization/class must bring a laptop for the workshop proper.
