Writing becomes one of the fundamental skills to be learned especially in the practice
of teaching and learning English (Rachmawati, 2013). Writing
English is a foreign language in Indonesia. People who learn English in indonesia starting
from the young age till the elder. They learn English through formal and informal education.
Learners also have different way in learning English.
Writing is a productive skill that is one of the most difficult skills should be learned.
In this modern era, writing become a prior skill in life (Laksnoria Karyuatry, Muhammad
Dhika Arif Rizqan, Nisrin Adelina Darayani , 2018).

to share ideas. Writing focuses on how students elaborate and organize their ideas into
written forms that are easily understood by readers. Writing has certain parts such as
content, coherent, grammar, and others. Mastering the products of writing are needed in
order to make the writing clearer and more understandable, without creating an ambiguous
meaning and misunderstanding information.

to correct grammar errors when they write. Grammarly also has a special function in
learning writing which provides solutions to every problem faced by students.
