Art Nouveau Overview
Art nouveau is an art form that flourished in 1890 and 1910 throughout Europe and the United states.
Art Nouveau was aimed at modernizing design, artist drew inspiration from both organic and
geometric forms. Art nouveau ended shortly when the 20th century modernist replaced it with newer
styles, although art nouveau never officially ended, it is now considered an important movement
historicism of neoclassicism and modernism.
