3. The Catholic Church has faced many struggles. However/In addition, child molestation may be the biggest challenge the Pope and
the clergy must resolve in recent times.
4. Do you enjoy completing these grammar exercises? Then/Yet, you should be able to improve your writing skills in no time!
5. Without getting a college degree, it will be difficult to get a job. Moreover/However, some will say, “It’s not what you know, but
who you know.”

Introduced to the students, the SPECTRUM as a prepation activity. In this pre-activity the teacher will post a
question of a relevant issue to see the range of students’ beliefs and values. The teacher will ask them to agree or
disagree to the various issue. Then after that, the teacher will let at least let three students to explain their side of the
issue

1. Divide the class into four groups. Assign a group leader.
5. Present your arguments through a creative interpretation such as role play presentation, artwork, talk show and speech.
ANALYSIS:
1. Based on the activity that you have conducted, how did you gather your arguments?
2. What are the ways that your group did in order to cater the limited time to create your arguments?

comes after it. (Refer to the activity sheets given to students)
