LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to read and identify true or false statements based on the
M pictures given.

C At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to use ‘and’ to connect words and proper names in sentences

1. Write anagrams of key topic vocabulary words on the board, e.g.

2. Put pupils into pairs or groups and ask them to work out the words by completing
the anagrams.

1. Activity 1:
 Ask pupils to look at p.42 of Superminds.
 Review some of the vocabulary.
 Write your sentences on the board or give them to pupils on a worksheet.
 Pupils read the sentences and tell you if they are true or false.
 Have pupils re-write the false sentences in their exercise books.
II. LESSON
DEVELOPMENT 2. Activity 2:
 Ask pupils to look at their camouflage collages from Lesson 110.
 They should write 2 or 3 sentences about their posters, some true, some false
using the model from activity 2.
 Go around the class to check.
 Volunteers present to the class.

1. Hold a discussion about what made the camouflaged “animals” difficult to spot.
