C At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to listen and follow the song correctly.
I. PRE-LESSON 1. In pairs, pupils take turns to mime one of the animals for their partner to guess.
1. Activity 1:
Pupils look at the picture.
Elicit what animals they can see and where some of them. (SB page 36)
Display song chart.
Play the recording. Pupils follow the song.
When pupils have learnt the song, practise it with the whole class and then in
groups.
Focus pupils on the plural nouns. Write them on the board.
