Categories you emails

1. Open Gmail.
2. At the top right, click Settings. See all settings.
3. Click the Inbox tab.
4. In the "Inbox type" section, select Default. ...
5. In the "Categories" section, check the boxes of tabs you want to show. ...
6. Scroll to the bottom, then click Save Changes.

Filter

1. In the search box at the top, click the Down arrow .


2. Enter your search criteria. If you want to check that your search worked correctly, see what
emails show up by clicking Search.
3. At the bottom of the search window, click Create filter.
4. Choose what you’d like the filter to do.
5. Click Create filter.

Use a particular message to create a filter


1. Open Gmail.
2. Check the checkbox next to the email you want.
3. Click More .
4. Click Filter messages like these.
5. Enter your filter criteria.
6. Click Create filter.
Priority Inbox
1. To configure your inbox, go to the top right, then click Settings .
2. In the "Inbox type" section, select Priority Inbox.
3. To customize priority inbox setting, click Customize.
4. Choose the inbox sections you want to show. Save Changes.
Add email to tasks list
1. Check the box next to the desired email(s). Near the top of the screen, click [More].
2. From the resulting drop-down menu, select "Add to Tasks". Your email will now appear in
your tasks list. To access the email from the tasks list, click the “Related email” link below
the task item.
View google task list
1. In the upper-left corner of Google Mail, click [Gmail] or [Mail].
2. In the resulting drop-down menu, select "Tasks". The "Tasks" pop-up box should now
appear in the lower-right corner of your screen.

Edit a task item detail

1. In the upper-left corner of Google Mail, click the down arrow next to [Gmail].
2. In the resulting drop-down menu, select "Tasks". The "Tasks" pop-up box should now
appear in the lower-right corner of your screen.
3. Click the arrow next to the task item you wish to edit.
4. In the resulting page, change the task name, set a due date, type a note, remove the
associated email link, and/or move the task item to a different list.
Snooze an email

1. Point to the email.


2. On the right, click Snooze .
3. Choose a later day and time to get the email.

Find snoozed emails

1. Go to the Menu .
2. Select Snoozed.
